We look a lot stronger at the end of the window, but still quite a few question marks.

GK: Cooper, Davies, Faxon
LB: Burrows, McCallum
CB:Tangana, Mee, McGuiness, Bindon, Z
RB: Godfrey, Seriki
CM: Peck Hamer, O'Hare, Soumare, Matos, Davies, Shackleton, Arblaster
Winger: Ogbene, Barry, Brooks, Chong, Ukaki, Nwachuckwu
St: Campbell, Ings, Cannon, One

We've at least got depth now but presuming we're carrying on with 4:3:3 I'm unconvinced this lot will get us into the play-offs. Lots of players who feel like average championship players in a formation which doesn't suit them. We'll see what happens, I guess. Maybe we'll be a different side after the international break?

Ukaki, Nwachuckwu won't feature much I suspect one and Cannon ahead of them on the wings if needs be

Some good players here but it just looks wrong to me

Best I can come up with currently is this

Cooper
Tanganga Mee Godfrey
Seriki Peck Soumaré Burrows
Hamer Barry
Campbell
/
Cooper
Godfrey Tanganga Mee Burrows
Peck Soumaré
Ogbene Hamer Barry
Campbell

Neither here nor there. Don't expect us to achieve any kind of ideal balance, or be outstanding in any department

I think the only way is wingbacks but we could have done that last game and didn't. The squad doesn't really work for me as a 4:3:3. The attack still looks entirely shoehorned in a 3-2-2-2-1 or 3-2-2-1-2. I can't imagine he'll have 2 loan wingers and sign Chong and not play wingers.

Don’t see us playing a back 3 . Godfrey always coming in as a full back and he ain’t playing wing back, think Zatterstrom will be seen as a more development player for this season. Question is who starts first choice with Tanganga at centre half. Should be Ben Mee imo. Think it makes Bindon 4th choice.

I think we're returning to a Warnock tactic. No Keeper on the bench. We're then going to use all 5 'subs' every game. BUT. They won't be subs as such, we're basically going to ask players to run themselves absolutely ragged for 55 mins and then change personnel. Selles ball will be the first in football to use designated finishers. Next game, we rotate in those that played 35 mins and the extras from the squad. Game 3 of the cycle, we ask those extras to play 55 and swap out to the 55ers from the first game in the cycle. Repeat from game 4 of the cycle.

Revolutionary.

He suits rcb in a 3 much better than RB in a 4 though. Tanganga suits rcb also, mee lcb, McGuiness CCB. Tanganga also CCB with Godfrey at Rcb. Think ogbene suits RWB more than RW also. But who knows

Wouldn’t want Mee on the side of a back 3, he would get done with the ball down the side constantly.

Got the option to play a few formations there.

The Blades equivalent of South Africa Rugby Union “Bomb Squad” where they replace 6 of 7 of their 8 forwards on the hour mark with absolute units. It works for them and we should be managing minutes, although players should be fit enough to play for 90 we can have 3 that we know we are going to replace around 55-60 minutes then a couple held back to replace as and when.
