We keep saying 'give it time' & 'we can't keep sacking managers' but this is just simply ridiculous. There's nothing there, absolutely nothing.

He's lost them players, he's lost the fans, this isn't Sheffield United I'm watching, I can't relate to the bloke in charge of my club, he doesn't understand the club & hasn't done anything to convince me he deserves the time to turn it round. We've played 4 different formations tonight, Matt Done's played 5 different positions it's just bonkers, clueless infact.

There's no heart, no soul & no passion, we gave it up with 35minutes to go just 'gave it up' here lads have the points we're not bothered, no Sheffield United side gives up a game, you play for pride in that shirt man, no excuses to not leave everything out there on that pitch when your wearing them red & white stripes. What's happened to 'never say die',

I've said for awhile to give you time Nige but you've done nothing to convince me you deserve the time to manage this great club of ours. If you left tomorrow I wouldn't bat an eyelid & wish you well as you seem a nice enough bloke but you aren't SUFC pal, you just don't seem to 'get it'
 
Blades with no heart,desire,tactical shape is what I've just watched,a stadium with no atmosphere,we are in a gloomy place at present..............ive said this b4,i dont mind losing but losing like that is as bad as it gets.........gutless or simply poor players?.......both?!?

I have just got back and I honestly can't believe how bad that was. They were by far better than us in every aspect of football. We head every ball out of play or to one of their players, they head theirs straight to one of their own. They control the ball brilliantly, look up then pass it to one of their own, it bounces straight of one of ours without an ounce of presence about them to get the fucker back, perhaps Done aside. It doesn't help when your one and only saviour in Sharp had his worst game for us, he was surely carrying an injury playing as poorly as he did without his usual drive and energy? How far above the relegation zone are we and I'm not joking, that was a complete and utter shambles from start to finish.

The players didn't play for the shirt and that was the most frustrating thing for me, the complete and utter wankers of the highest order after that dreadful performance and if anyone sticks up for them after tonight then they want their bumps feeling.

I don't think it's likely to ever get much better now. Football in this country has been changing for a long time and that change has moved on most significantly in the last 3-5 years. We really have missed the boat this time and I struggle to see a way back without a very wealthy saviour.

Jay played till he couldn't walk. Edgar looked.good again. Collins always plays with passion. The Beard is a strange one. Bash played as hard as ever. Done too. Billy obviously - though he got nothing.

Sending on Whiteman and DCL looked like a changing of the guard and planning for our Division 3 future.

We were snuffed out by the better team tonight. They picked up second balls all night. Like they'd played together a long time.

And we conceded the 83rd goal this season from a player cutting in from their left/our right.

Who exactly wasn't trying?

You are taking the piss though yeah?! I wouldn't pay a single one of the fuckers including Billy Blade tonight. They were all guilty of pulling out of challenges, shirking responsibility, lack of basic enthusiasm - we'll not even get to devoid of skill. It was inept. Tepid would be too kind to them. Gutless, spineless and down right pathetic would be closer to the truth. That's the first time I've come out angry from a game rather than apathetic. I feel like they've actually robbed me of twenty quid tonight.
 
Easily the worst game I've ever seen. Absolutely no attacking intent whatsoever. Long still doesn't command his box, Cuvelier can't pass, Done has turned into another human and oh forget it. I'm going to bed. Its a fucking shambles.

It was a highly odd double substitution for me (unless he's trying to make a point). You don;t throw 2 kids into midfield at the same time in a situation like that.

Unfortunately, it's this kind of situation and time of season where Kev like to roll dice. We need to start from scratch in summer and for me, with Adkins.

I can only imagine what time of dire replacement we'd bring in.

Different game to what I, and clearly from the comments, many others saw tonight.

"We were snuffed out" - wouldn't mind if we provided something to actually snuff out but we didn't.

Next thing you'll be telling me we played with passion and we were determined/giving it a right good go.

I think it's a lazy criticism.

The effort of Done who sometimes looks uninterested and Bash stood out. Jay had a very good game. Flo, Adams, DCL, Whiteman - not trying? Really?

Was the Beard the weakpoint? I don't know. I'd like to think not - but it looks like it.

Like I said DCL and Whiteman coming on might have been about next season in Division 3.

At times we looked disorganised eg short corners early on.

We lost because they were a better team. They made us look ordinary. It's not the first time they've done that this season and it won't be the last.

Most frustrating thing? The number of second balls they picked up.

How could we have won? I think maybe a Fleetwood keepball extravaganza would've worn them down. That would be my best guess.

Mceverly (our best player BTW) goes off. Mmm, I know lets put a centre half who has just joined the club on at right back. Why the fuck did the chump not put Flynn on. It might have at least given us some impetus to chase the game.
Worst game I can remember in 40 years.

I can't see how this makes sense. Whatever we had - they had it covered.

There was nothing on. They were very well drilled. They covered runs passes moves that we had. DCL tried something different second half a first time ball out to our right. They were there waiting for it.

They were a better team than us.

Closest comparison atm is that nondescript Greece team winning the Euros.
