Did anyone else notice late on, when Morgan had the ball at the back looking for an outlet. All the other players were either static or hiding and Morgs lumped it out towards the corner on John Street.

He gave a look across to Blackie that could have floored him in one.

Now, I'm not one to just blame the manager (players should at least earn their wage despite what they may think of the manager), and I really was disappointed in most of the players yesterday due to lack of movement and the basics of football.

The "look" I suppose could have meant a few things....."Blackwell sort these wimps that are hiding" or "Blackwell we just can't do this anymore"

With hindsight I think the "look" certainly had more meaning than I first thought!

I heard something connected to this on Praise or Grumble as well, according to Brian the Blade, he shouted to Morgan has he (Blackwell) resigned yet? To which Morgan replied, "No, not yet" but his facial expression showed he was clearly riled by the whole day and didn't seem too happy with Blackwell.

He gave that female linesperson a few in the 2nd half as well. There was one in particular where he just shouted 'ours' a couple of times for a throw-in and gave her the 'look', there was no way she was going to give it to them.

Having just punted the ball into touch, that's no time to be shooting looks at anyone, but I do think you're onto something here.

I noticed when he missed with a simple 5 yard pass to Britton that he flung his arms out in disgust and looked as though he was going to sink to his knees. You simply don't expect this despairing body language from him. Normally he'd have run after the ball and clattered someone.

We should credit QPR with some excellent closing down, but it was clear our players weren't brave enough, or understood the system enough (whatever that system was) to operate as a unit.

Warnock had a recognisible Plan B. Put Chief (or equivalent) up front, play it long and work off him. Yesterday's lot never got near the strikers, never got the ball wide, and never showed to play it through the middle. God it was ugly...

It sure was horrible.
The lack of an outlet down the left was frightning & nothing in the middle.

anything that did happen usually revolved around young Ward.

That ones from when he belted the ball at Britton and then had a go at him for doing nothing with it.

Worryingly out of it both mentally and physically was Morgs.
