Lads and lasses re the racism thread, can we put it to bed, wish each other a merry Christmas and focus on getting behind the lads with 3 points today.
We live in a diverse country where people have different opinions different values and different tolerance levels on a whole range of things and I dare say many of us have said things in the past, in the heat of the moment that others could deem a bit risky. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
How many have chanted insulting remarks to bald players, fat players, lanky players (remember freak being chanted at Crouch many a time) where’s ya caravan to long haired players. We also have wanker chanted at the referee most games. You could argue that none of this is acceptable and I’m not saying it is but it’s a football match where passions run high. We all share that same passion for our beloved team and very few of us have been angels 100% of the time but I’m sure none of us are bad people that chant those things.
I know I’ve set myself up for comments like “you don’t have to read it if you don’t like it” or “who are you to dictate who posts what”, I get that but come on fellow blades share the love to one and all this Christmas and let’s see some topics to put a warm glow into us all, or even another about how has didzy missed that one today!!!!!
