Most bizarre cup draw I’ve ever seen. Same bloke puts them in and draws them out

What happened to the independent adjudicator?

Nobody from the FA even visible when the draw got made.

At best unprofessional. At worst, rigged.

Why? It’s not hard to keep track of 4 balls. Draw one ball out and the rest you can determine of certain things are in place.

Suppose the two Manc ones had been kept in the fridge or had scratches on them that were easy to feel, or numbers so pronounced it would be easy to work out what they are. We were number 4. It’s easy to identify a 4 in contrast to a 3 or a 2 when the numbers are pronounced or indented.

It’s very easy to fix without being at all visible to the innocent viewer.

If it's a fix, why did we not get Manchester United, and Brighton Manchester City? That would be a much better way of "ensuring" an all Manchester final.

Also, the only way the conspiracy theorists would be happy is if the two Manchester clubs drew each other - a 1/3 chance. If the two Manchester clubs were kept separate, people would have screamed "conspiracy!" whichever way the ties fell, despite them not playing each other being the more likely outcome.

Only 1/3 chance they drew each other, 2/3 that they didn't. That it didn't happen is not proof or even evidence of corruption.
