I think the 4th Goal killed the game and I don't believe it should have stood.

We are on the attack and Basham (?) Gets taken down on the edge of the box. Ref plays advantage and a first time cross goes into the box. They clear, counter and score.

The advantage was played for 1 second (2 at a push) how was it not brought back?

There’s no consistency from refs that’s why. Brooks gets sandwiched in their box and the ref plays on - 60 yards further down the pitch and the slightest nudge is given as a foul. Far from the ref’s fault tonight but the level of inconsistency of refereeing decisions is staggering.

It was a foul but also a very fair advantage. Brooks got the cross in.

But it didn't result in an attempt at goal. Maybe I am wrong but I was under the impression that in that scenario play should have been brought back.

Even given the emotion and obvious bias of a home crowd egging their side on to sneak a point, that was a staggeringly bad performance by the officials.

No advantage , Basham was taken out just outside their box, they broke 4-2.The ref tonight was substandard , saying that Fulham were the better team and in Sessignon have a top notch player

I'm clearly in the minority here, but I didn't think the ref was too bad. He should've booked someone for time wasting and offered Brooks more protection. That aside he did nowt wrong, he didn't give much that we appealed for, but its our job as home fans to appeal for everything.

I think the game especially in our top two leagues has become too quick for them... its been mentioned a lot the standard is terrible and consistency none existent.

Basham was right on the 18 yard line, but it wouldn't had mattered if he was 5 yards inside the box, cos tonights inept official would still have played advantage. He could have pulled that back as soon as he saw that Brooks cross was heading nowhere.

Just watched the goals back, at the time
I couldn’t work out how Blackman had been beaten on that side and for a second I thought it had hit the side netting. Now I see it was deflected. That was the killer, the one that wasn’t down to defensive errors.

Can’t really blame the officials for any of the goals personally. Apart from the second goal which was so incredibly fortunate on Fulham’s part, all of the goals were very avoidable with basic defending. It happens in football though. And to say he conceded 5 I thought Blackman was faultless tonight to be honest, but I know others will definitely disagree.

Getting the cross in is the advantage. Couldn’t understand why the ref got so much stick for that one. Foody has called it spot on for me.

I haven’t seen it, but the advantage decision is instant, hence why they get it wrong sometimes before they have to decide straight away.

If we get the cross in, unless it’s by the player who’s knocked off balance and scuffs it for example, it’s play on.

Not that many think of it In the heat of the moment, but if a team wants a free kick, all they have to do is stop. Though they run the risk of the ref not having thought it was a foul and hence it being play on anyway.
