I think we need a strong Port Vale.
Although that's because I like strong port.

It'll be truly nauseating if Forest went up, it was bad enough when Leeds did. Jermaine Jenas will be front and centre on Match of the Day and the One Show waxing lyrical about it. I can see all the Clough montages now and all the simpletons being interviewed about European Cups that you have to be at least 50 years old to remember. This is one of the reasons that I really hope Forest don`t go up - the media love in will ramp up
"back where they belong"
We are never talked about in that manner - despite having been in the PL twice (for 3 seasons) since Forest and them lot from the other side of the city.
(Not that I believe we "belong" in the PL - no team does on the basis of who they are)
If Forest go up, they go up, it's not like Wednesday going up where we'll have to listen to them crowing about it for ages. Forest are smaller than Leeds and yet they've hardly set the world alight up there either. I want us to be in the PL but at the same time the chances of staying there unless you've got an outstanding youth system like Southampton have for example, or a billionaire owner, is very slim. Football has changed so much at the top and this is why we desperately need changes at the top as the report has recently said but the PL will do all they can to resist it.It'll be truly nauseating if Forest went up, it was bad enough when Leeds did. If we fuck it up tonight, then I hope to god that Huddersfield go up.
Bear in mind during his playing career he was playing against the pigs, not usI watched it live and couldn't believe it was Wednesday he plucked out his head and not ourselves. I got over it in about 3 seconds.
I agree with his general point though.
Would much rather have a smaller stadium that isn't a deathtrap with one part literally condemned due to safety issues.. but that's just meThis is why we need a bigger stadium, even though we have the best divisional position, better average attendances etc we do have a stadium that isn’t able to host larger attendances, as an organisation we need to move onto that next level to increase the size of the club and that includes stadium size and position in the top flight, hopefully the new owner will see this.
