No mate - I've got that wrong. With you entirely now - today was much, much more than a 1-0 defeat. I really do feel sick. The worse is yet to come, by a long, long way (noted we have been in 4th div before by the way) See Charlton had a sell out today? £5 tickets.

Can't believe Charlton have been so foolish as to try to attract some old fans back and generate some new ones.
It will never work. They'd be better off putting their prices up and having 10,000 proper fans there and a half empty ground.
McCabe as ever is ahead of the game on this one. He's managed to oversee the loss of nearly half our ST holders and nobody cares.
He's also cleverly pledged not to have any offer matches this season - genius.
If our neighbours have got any sense they'll be sweeping up the next generation with the kid a quid offers etc over the next few seasons.

Would this have been noted if we had won 3-1 today.
We've hit a dodgy run of form, but it was always going to happen wasn't it.
I remember the last season we spent in this division and getting beaten by Aldershot, Mansfield Town, Chesterfield and a couple of other lesser teams

All those 3 got relegated that season along with Southend.
Southend & Chesterfield did the double over us. Aldershot beat us at there place 1-0, Mansfield beat us 2-1 at ours.
