I have a sneaky feeling that Wolves will let him go in the summer.

Sadly I'd be stunned if it's not to PL club. Our chance to get him again rested on promotion.

Even the promoted clubs this term would surely be interested in him, not to mention the likes of Brentford, Leeds or Burnley, Southampton etc.

If we somehow got him back next season even as a loan that would be a coup. Somehow sign him permanent, I just can't see it, not unless we end up having a takeover and splashing bit of cash. Even then though I don't see him not having options from PL level.

Head and shoulders above anyone in our side or Forest's last night. He was the player we've cried out for for years, the sort of guy when if you're in the shit, you can rely on him to come up with something to dig you out of it and time and again this season he has done. Anything positive has had MGW at the heart of it.

His penalty taking ability leaves a bit to be desired but his contribution throughout the season has been outstanding.

If we'd gone up, he might have been here to stay but he's far too good to be playing in the Championship every week, someone at a higher level will take him if Wolves aren't going to give him a chance themselves. MGW playing off Mitrovic would make for a decent combo for Fulham IMO.

Best loan signing we’ve ever had by a country mile .
Quality player that absolutely gives his all , player of the season by a country mile .
My lasting memory will his sided/ back flicked goal against Boro 👌
Lovely tribute to Didzsy after the goal to last night
Would love to see him back here again but I think this will deservedly be playing in the PL 👍
Thanks again MGW you’ve been class act & I wish you all the best for the future ⚔️
Not sure about him leaving , another year with us ?. Can only see him as a bench player at Wolves. Another year with us would be great for him and us.
Everything else you put spot on. Whatever happens it's been a pleasure watching him develop .

There is no way he's back here next season. Wolves will have a decision to make on him in the summer on whether to stick with him or sell him on as in the current market they will probably get 15-20m for him. Wouldn't surprise me to see him end up at Palace, they've got a good collection of young players who he would fit in well with and grow together.

If we got him again next season that would be a massive plus , but it wouldn’t surprise me after his performances this season that another PL club may come in for him if he’s not gonna get first team football at Wolves . The worst scenario in this would be if it’s Forest if they get up ..as he was part of Coopers England U17 winning team

He 'll not want his last kick for us to be a missed pelanty. Shame it ended that way for him.

See yer Morgs , Lovely genuine lad with loads of talent, stunning girlfriend, it must be hard been him, got a bigger future ahead of him !

Who ever gets him should look at Ndiaye , there partnership could be awesome , shit did I say that out loud !!

MGW is one of the best players I’ve ever seen in my 40 years as a Blade. That penalty miss means fuck all to me, MGW has carried this team this season. A few senior players that are long past their sell by date, take a look at this bloke. Thanks Morgan for your effort, passion, skill and giving everything to the cause.
Same here. The lad just loves playing the game. A joy to watch. Pull out all the stops to get him back to the lane. I’ll contribute!!!

Great player, I'd not really heard much on him when he signed, his stock will have risen massively due to his time with us and he has been a huge factor in our rise to 5th this season. He genuinely seemed to love playing for us, if we'd have gone up I'm sure he would want to have come back and no doubt United would have done all we could to sign him. Not to be for now, but hopefully one day he'll come back to play for us, even if he's 35 by then!

Good luck MGW, whatever the future holds for you.
Thankyou
"You fill up my senses....like a gallon of Magnet/Magotts..."

Think this is one of the many reasons the shitstorm from the aftermath of the playoff is so galling. We never got to properly show our appreciation to this gifted player.

That Didzy celebration he did when he equalized, pointing over to the dugout as he did it will stay with me for a long time. Phenomenal player and brilliant character. Credit to whoever he plays for.

Like Henderson before him!, MG-W's become a BDTBL 'On-Loan' Legend in his short time with us. Would love to see him back in a Blades shirt next season (If possible!).
If this is the end, then I, along with many (if not all) Blades, want to show my gratitude and add my Thanks and Best Wishes for the future to him.
Good Luck Morgan 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍

Morgan's desire to play and demand the ball is an example for anyone. For season he has been here he showed how skillful he really is and a terrific attitude. He fit right into the club and gave us some great memories. I wish him the best where ever he goes and he is always welcome at Bramall Lane. Top bloke.
UTB.

Miss you already babes

As we all know, he was all business, he didn't mess about, he didn't go missing, he never gave less than 100%. Scored some great goals, including that outrageous one against 'Boro, made a load of assists, popped up in all sorts of places to receive the ball and move it forward.

In other words, he was never a passenger, but (to use an old phrase), "he made things happen".

A joy to watch and a fan favourite.

He has always said how much he loves it here, and I am sure there will always be a space in his heart for Sheffield United.

If this is the end of the line, then take a bow, Morgan Gibbs-White, you stepped up and more than delivered, thanks.

If the AC Milan interest is true then surely he was already aware of this before his pre-play-offs interview where he said “anything is possible even if we go up or stay down - I love this place”…

I know I’m clutching. It just feels like the worst thing about losing the play-offs is the fact we’ll never see him in the red & white again. 💔 He is what every footballer should try to be.

I’m a middle aged man but got to admit that almost brought a tear to my eye.

No MGW and presumably Berge is going to take some addressing.

Is there anything worse than falling in love with loanees? 😭

Sounds like that’s the last we see of him in a Blades shirt then ☹️
