Maybe Dan Burn is on his way here?

Terry needs a regular run of games whether that is with us or out on loan.

Same sauce (sic) presumably as the one who saw the emergency board meeting entry in McCabe's diary and the one that confirmed the Kop redevelopment was starting last week?

Adkins has been banging on about number of days training players are getting and the need to have a high level of fitness, Wallace and Kennedy being the main considerations.

Tel hasn't had a prolonged run of games at any point for United and I would love this to happen as he understands the art of no nonsense defending.

I personally think this could be good for him and anyone who gets him will have a good pro.

He deserves a career in football but he has to prove he can put together a number of games.

Good luck to him I say.

The reliable chancer, Mike Stephenson on Twitter is purporting it as fact on SUFC hashtag.

If he's fit enough to go on loan then surely he should be starting games for us?

That's why, if true, I can't make sense of it. We're lacking a player like him at the back because Neill Passionate Collins and Basham aren't good enough as a pairing. Basham and a fit Kennedy would be a marked improvement.

The difference between Edgar and Kennedy's defensive ability and suitability for League One was there for all to see at Port Vale.

It was only Kennedy coming on that stopped their big number 9 running straight through our defence in the second half, and he won just about everything in the air of course

He's a great player if it wasn't for those pesky knees. If you ever watch him he wins everything in the air, despite his lack of height being a perceived weakness.

I wish him the very best of luck and hope he gets a good injury free run.

What a f***ing joke of a decision from Adkins. We are woeful at centre half, and yet the best centre half by a country mile gets loaned out to Cambridge. Perhaps we should have seen this coming after Adkins made McEveley captain and started the season at centre half... obviously another manager who is clueless with regards to centre halves. Must be something to do with the name Nigel.

Best of luck to Terence - really hope it goes well for him. Can't really see his knee holding up to games week-in-week-out either down there or up here, but very much hope he can somehow turn the corner.

In saying that, more evidence of the proactivity on outgoings continuing. Keep it going, Nige.

Thanks for all your messages. New experience for me. hopefully show Cambridge what I can do and help the club climb the league. Can't wait

Best case scenario he plays regularly through to January, shows his body can take the demands, and returns into our squad January. If he shows that he can no longer take the demands, January might be the point where we sadly have to part ways with Kennavaro.

Agreed. I am not sure he can play week in week out for us at the moment but hopefully he proves us wrong while on loan and plays regularly.

This loan move explains why we are once again monitoring the situation with Dan Burn.

I think it's because Adkins doesn't want to rely on someone who can't play a run of games.

We need, as Adkins has said lately, to get a settled side. Kennedy couldn't play twice in a week last season without suffering a set-back, so till he proves he can he's really not of huge use to us, other than as an occasional sub – particularly as we're out of the JPT.

Seriously what the fuck is going on?

I assumed Kennedy wasn't playing because he was injured??

Best centre back at the club goes out on loan, meanwhile Mceverly and Collins are still stinking the place out.

Fuckin bizarre!

He hasn't had enough games for us to be called 'best centre back at the club'. McEverley has probably had as many good games as Tel.

Seems that you have to believe some of the posts on here

Some people seem desperate to find failt the moment.

He's injury prone and we can't possibly rely on him, though I agent re ann injury free Kennedy is a good prospect. Sending him elsewhere to get game time and prove his fitness seems perfectly sensible.

As usual with these things, in some people's eyes he's turned into Vincent Company overnight.

Maybe Adkins is sending him out to see if his knee can hold up to playing every week and will then make a decision on whether it's worth giving him a contract at the end of the season. I get the idea but if he's fit he's probably our best centre half

Quite possibly, but let's not let reality stand on the way of a flouncing opportunity. :)
