The pitch can't be that bad if the ball's started rolling?

with regards the training pitch its understandable with the amount of rain we've had this year that it will be saturated the timing of the storms and the sheer amount of rain means any pitch will get boggy you only have to walk on any local parks land to feel how damp/boggy it still is

Shirecliffe facility is only 20 years old, and was hailed as state of the art at the time. 20 years is surely not that long to become outdated. Or was it never as good as claimed. Plus Shirecliffe is at the top of a hill. Can't be that diffficult to fix the drainage surely.
And there are only 6 games left. Why not train at Bramall Lane? It looks in great condition to me.......

“State of the art” was a stretch even 20 years ago.

But it’s still miles better that what we had before. Trouble is, other clubs invested far heavier.
