One change, Sharp in for Sammon. Zero creativity in midifeld and 2 absolute liabilities in defence. Praying for 0-0.

Long
Brayford Edgar Collins McCeveley
Coutts Hammond Basham Woolford
Sharp Done

Subs: Howard, Flynn, Scougall, Sammon, Campbell-Ryce, Reed, K Wallace

Coutts can pick a pass. As did Collins v Oldham. It's one thing McEveley can do well, and he's not as bad defensively as he's made out.

Billy and Matt Done should have nuisance power and mobility buy won't win much if/when we go long. Will they have understanding?

Creativity: Baxter looks a lot like he's persona non grata, may have played his last game for us? Che banned. JCR hamstrung - we have to do our best.

Keep it tight, hopefully without getting sent off, giving away penalties or handballing into our own net, bring on JCR as an impact sub.

1-0.

Then 2-0 as they chase the game at the end.

Maybe.

It is what it is. All managers have one player they pick. Perhaps he's hoping he'll raise his game against his old club.

Woodford again??!!
I would prefer any of the subs on the left instead of him, including Howard.
Here's hoping we so.show get the win.
UTB!

Woolford offers midfield discipline, it's lack of discipline in midfield that has cost us goals this season more than the much maligned defence.

What he's not going to do is jink past his man and slot it in the corner.

We're consolidating till JTW hopefully, when a tsunami of talent will carry us to the title.

He's relatively benign in that he won't win us a game, but also he won't lose us one with a catastrophic mistake (hopefully!) ;)

Who puts the crosses in??!!
Can't believe Woolford keeps his place. He was so inept against Coventry he doesn't even deserve a place on the bench. Here's hoping he makes me eat my words but on previous evidence I'm not worried

Sitting here in my snug, drinking Jaipur and chain smoking my pipe.

Wondering whether I should have made the effort to go to this match. Feeling bad about my lack of effort.

The thought of Woolford dancing through the midfield and defence - slotting a crisp side footer in the bottom right hand corner to cries of "do you want to live forever?" from the Blades faithful.

A majestic controlled and sure footed display by our left back and Collins marshalling the defence like Booby Moore.

Is it morning yet?

HH

Woolford offers nothing. He is inept.

i worry that adkins has gone for unchanged team because of 3pts & a clean sheet. not the performance. january cant come quick enough to get some defenders in to force collins & mceveley out of the side

Well it's hard to say what was worse. Us, Scunny or the officials. I'll go for the Lino down our left and Woolford. They must be twins cause they both ugly and utter wank

Lucky b'stard..... I feel even more guilty that I'm sat here having sold the blades to my daughter and her boyfriend and now they're hooked...... Poor fuckers. If i have to suffer then so will they!

We had plenty of shots first half, one sitter a header from Hammond I think (other end), and Coutts burst through on goal(!) but decent save. Generally contained them.

Looked a lot like we came flying at them first five minutes of the second. We'd already had one good chance and another shot when we scored.

Best five minutes of the season.

Unsustainable though.

Backed off. They started lumping it forward and seemed to miss a couple of decent chances. Including a crowd goal right at the end.

Great support from the crowd.

Physical stuff comes at a price though. Bash and Jay limped off. More bookings too.
