Hanson is starting today. That's not my opinion it's a fact.
Not sure why you've put Scougall on bench. That mean's we'd have 4 central attacking midfielders in the line up and on the benchI’d like to see
-------------------Moore
-----EEL---------Wright------O’Connell
Freeman------------------------------Lafferty
---------------Coutts-----Fleck
----------------------Duffy
----------------Sharp------Lavery
Subs
Long
Basham
Riley
Carruthers
O’Shea
Hanson
Done
But I predict
---------------------Moore
--------Basham-----EEL----O Connell
Freeman----------------------------Lafferty
--------------Coutts------Fleck
----------------------Duffy
-------------Sharp---Hanson
Subs
Long
Wright
Riley
Carruthers
O Shea
Lavery
Scougall
Iv no issue with him starting if we move the ball quick, out wide and then cross it. I do have an issue if we just go back to front. There would be irony playing against Wimbledon in that style!
Some amazing team selections here. I bet hardly anyone has EVER seern Carruthers,Riley,O'Shea or Hanson play yet plenty are spouting how they should all start as if we'd signed Messi,Ronaldo,Costa and Hazard.
Makes you wonder how them numpties we've had to put up with have managed to get us into such a promising position.
I'm afraid the irony has already been secured by Bassett's legacy. In the eyes of the wider football world, today is Hoof North v Hoof South and just to emphasise that, the man who brought Charles Hughes' golden vision to life will be in attendance.
We'll need Tufty's proper football for a few more years yet to redeem ourselves, sad to say.
Not one person in this thread has suggested that Carruthers, Riley, O'Shea and Hanson should all start. If you're going to try and have a dig at people's team selections then at least post yours up so we can see what a tactical genius would do.
My front three:
Anyone....But....Runaround.

Plenty have advocated GIVINEMALLARUN mate.
My team?
Moore
EEL Wright O'Connell
Freeman Lafferty
Fleck
Duffy Coutts
Sharp Lavery.
Hansen. Carruthers. O'Shea. Basham. Long. Riley.Brookes.
What about McNulty????
EEL has had two shockers on the bounce, his distribution varies from the sublime to the ridiculous but having said all that I still wouldn't drop him.Surprised people are dropping Basham ahead of EEL after he gave the worst performance in a blade shirt this season.
Moore
Bash Wright JOC
Freeman Lafferty
Coutts Fleck
Duffy
Billy Lavery
Hoping for
Moore
EEL - Wright - O'Connell
Freeman - Coutts - Fleck - Lafferty
Duffy
Hanson - Sharp
Subs: Long, Basham, Riley, Carruthers, Oshea, Lavery, Done
I think that
Hanson will start as Wilder is clearly trying to find that balance and partnership up front. It's a bit harsh on Lavery who hasn't done much wrong really. As for whether we play hoof with a big lad in the team, I'd hope not. My recollections of Hanson all revolve around him attacking crosses and scoring in front of Bradford's away following. Can h come short and bring midfielders into play ? Lets hope so.
This match day 18 also means we have 8 first team squad members kicking their heels this weekend. There are certainly some decent options available as the winter slog continues
Wilson, Scougall, Hussey, Mcnulty, Reed, Clarke (injured), Chapman (injured), Brooks
What a strange question.How isn't O'Connell a proper big defender, because he's not black?!

What a strange question.
In reply, because he wins less balls
I'd pick that lass. Fuckin rack on er.
He has got to startI'm astonished anyone thought otherwise (No, you're right; I'm not really). All this 'last half hour impact sub' bollocks never had any foundation in reality.
It's inevitable at the rate we change managers. Whenever a manager comes in they'll be players he doesn't really want but is stuck with. He'll get some out but not all of them. Then, it's likely that one or two of the players he brings in won't work out. So it's easy to end up with five or six players that are surplus to requirements. It is interesting how all our managers come in and talk of wanting to have a small, tight-knit group of 22-23 players in the first team squad. Then gradually it starts to balloon again into 27 or 28.
If we continue to have a bad run, no doubt certain people will start to include Academy players and moaning that we have 43 Professionals on the books.
She looks barely conscious. Do you play up front for Chesterfield?I'd pick that lass. Fuckin rack on er.
