To churn the pitch up, we’re going agricultural on Sunday.Anyone know why we are training at the lane?
Daily Mail predicts that Billy will startAfter that brill performance/result on Tuesday against Newcastle I would stick with the same starting 11 and go for it against Spurs. Can Utd make it two wins on the trot before we have the two trip to Manchester

As long as he doesn't use McBurnie at any point. I've nothing against him personally but he just breaks down and wrecks any fluidity we ever show. After that brill performance/result on Tuesday against Newcastle I would stick with the same starting 11 and go for it against Spurs. Could't agree more. He's been a total Baxteresque wanker.Agree. Unless there is a sudden improvement in attitude, Moose is looking destined to join the long list of professional sportsman who will look back on their career in 15-20 years time and reflect on what could have been. Lots of natural ability but a shockingly poor dedication to their sport and employer.
The very least you expect from a highly paid premier league footballer is to look after themselves and keep at a decent level of fitness, commensurate with their status and pay. He’s been here 18 months and has shown no inclination whatsoever to do that. In fact, it’s quite the opposite, as demonstrated by his late night antics a few days ago.
As far as I’m concerned, the jig is up. He’ll have 12 months left on his contract at the end of this season and is cut him loose and get whatever fee we can for him.
Madness, utter madness. Moose more than paid off his transfer fee with his goals last season, & most acknowledge he is our most dangerous forward when he is "on it". Sure there has been disappointments & his personal issues have been well documented, but rather than chuck your dummy out & "get what we can for him" surely it would be better to work hard on sorting those issues, firstly to benefit from more effort on the pitch, & secondly, because if we do want to cut him loose (I certainly don't), a fit & firing Moose commands a big fee.Agree. Billy is past it I am afraid.
So are you judging by your username
He scored the winner and created the penalty by putting their CB under physical pressure
IMO Billy gets no criticism for the current plight as he's barely played any minutes this season.
I assume the training ground is snowed offAnyone know why we are training at the lane?
Whereas the Moose has never been fit enough for this level...So if he's considered not good enough to get regular minutes in a side that can't score, how is he not 'finished'?
Mousset gets stick, but he had more PL goals last season than Sharp has in his whole career.
Sharp has never been good enough for this level.
He's too slow: very often off-side and lucky not to get a red. Agreed he scored a penalty. If he gets credit for the win against Newcastle, how much criticism are you going to give him for the side being bottom and with 5 points after 18 games?

The guy has talent, that is not in question, it’s his attitude and commitment that seem to be the problem. It would be naive to think the club and manager don’t know how to handle different personalities, if that is what you are suggesting. They supported him during his personal issues last year and he repaid that by reporting back to preseason overweight and then missing most of the season with various injuries before writing his car off after a lockdown night out with one of his pals.Madness, utter madness. Personally I wonder if he isn't being handled correctly, you simply cannot treat all players the same, you have to be clever with player psychology & work out what works best for the individual, not give everyone the same level of tough love & expect them all to toe the line. Whatever, I could be wrong, but while he is here we should be doing everything in our power to get the best Moose on the pitch, not just say "nah bin him" if you get frustrated.
