TEAM v Spurs

Hard to disagree with these thoughts chaps. Keeping a winning team sounds good. Spurs will be a tough nut to crack but hoping for a performance. Sons pace and Kanes eye for a goal will be hard to stop but utb.

I agree try and get an early goal catch them napping then no chance of losing 1-0 :) Fall over couple of times in a Kane challenge get him sent off. :)

Same team for me too if I was picking the team but I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder does make a change, he likes to rotate the front two.

Be interesting to see if Wilder goes with a winning team,or if Baldock and Stevens pull on his heart strings.
I wouldn’t rule it out given the opposition, particularly Baldock. Would be very harsh on Bogle as he’s been out most likely goal threat in the last two games.

Yep get them pushing hard and getting the balls in again, if they tire then you can use baldock and Stevens as subs, so important to how we play. No good changing the strikers if they arnt getting the service.

Pick the same team.

There will be a temptation to replace Bogle with Baldock but we should resist it.
We need to go after teams and try to win games. We have a very (very) slim chance of making a fight of this - we can only do that by improving our play in the final third.

I would also pick the same team.

That said he may consider just rotating Mousset and Burke. The former is more of a goal threat and you could then argue with the latter's pace he's a great person to throw on against tiring bodies.

I’d go with Burke. His attitude and application to press the defence and run the channels will be key against a team who are likely to control possession. Mousset just doesn’t do that enough.

Hope they play Eric Dier as Burke will embarrass him in a foot race.

I'm sort of done with Mousset. He never looks fit & his effort levels are poor. And that's ignoring his off the field antics and the likelihood he won't be here next season.
I'd keep blooding Burke and let him find his feet at the top of the pitch. Mousset can be the impact sub if we need him to be - he only lasts 10 minutes anyway.

I don't think wilder will have many options to change the line up unless he suddenly has players back from injury/illness, can't beat confidence and I think they will go out and have a real go at spurs, after Brewster's half hour cameo he is the one I want to watch and see if he can repeat it, he should be champing at the bit, I'm even looking forward to it 🤫

Definitely same team assuming same attacking intent as Newcastle game...the concern is if we sit back and let them have possession as Sissoko is a beast in that midfield and it will be a long afternoon for our midfield to try and turnover possession. Intriguing game as taking the game to them and allowing them to counter plays to their advantage. Probably safer to let them score first as Mourinho will then sit back 😉

Same team for me, tiny bit of momentum so lets see. Tougher game.

Agree. Unless there is a sudden improvement in attitude, Moose is looking destined to join the long list of professional sportsman who will look back on their career in 15-20 years time and reflect on what could have been. Lots of natural ability but a shockingly poor dedication to their sport and employer.

The very least you expect from a highly paid premier league footballer is to look after themselves and keep at a decent level of fitness, commensurate with their status and pay. He’s been here 18 months and has shown no inclination whatsoever to do that. In fact, it’s quite the opposite, as demonstrated by his late night antics a few days ago.

As far as I’m concerned, the jig is up. He’ll have 12 months left on his contract at the end of this season and is cut him loose and get whatever fee we can for him.

7 players out. 1 new injury (to someone who played v Newcastle) and a doubt about one more.
Baldock & Stevens likely back though.

Really hope its not Ampadu. Dont want Robinson back at LCB.

Stevens at LCB Bogle and Baldock wingbacks for me.
