It's a well known fact Leon gets a lot more games than Billy is allowed. Billy is usually allowed half an hour out of form before he's substituted.
Wilder said today McG and Leon seemed the best partnership in pre season, he almost gave the impression that he doesn't think thats the case any more.
Give Billy his chance, and give him his best chance at that. Play Duffy and Woodburn with him.
Duffy doesn't just pick killer balls he draws the opposition out to him, he makes space for strikers and he finds them in it afterwards.
Woodburn looks so sharp, direct, and has an eye for cheeky penetrating balls.
Billy hasn't got any pace (if he ever had any) but his movement and understanding is first class so if he plays infront of Woodman I think they will link up really well.
Leonard is supposed to be box to box so let him play more defensive, let Fleck back in the center and let Lunny play the wider position.

When he did play in midfield he was always part of the flat 3 to the right of Evans wasn't he?

He could look a different player in a more focused deeper role.

CW doesn't really do wholesale changes does he. Heard him say before that subs or cup teams have given him decisions to make, then changed nothing. In reality he'll probably change 1 player, 2 at a stretch and possibly none.

Don't think he has..he's always been hplayed on the right of a 3,apart from the one appearance at RCB...Most times he's been used as sub in the last 10/15 minutes.
Maybe his distribution is not good enough to play him deeper,as we usually play more of a passer/playmaker type like Coutts and Evans in that role..wouldn't mind seeing him given a go slthough i still haven't seen enough of him to be honest..looks like he's got the ability to drive forward with the ball though,which would be handy.
