If no Duffy, play Holmes behind Brooks and Clarke, with Fleck and Evans in behind him.
Jake Wright back in to shore up the defence and were in for 3 points.

I'd play Holmes or Duffy in the hole with Billy and Leon up top.
Lundstram was nowhere near man of the match and Brooks wasn't great either so would drop both.

Unfortunately for the Lundstram enthusiasts Wilder's more likely to drop him than Evans.

He wasn't the best player on the pitch either, at least Basham and Fleck were better than him.
Watching the game back yesterday, he gives the ball away more than any other player, mainly playing balls around the corner to nobody without looking.

I have to admit I was a little surprised to see so many (and Sky) give Lundstram man of the match. I thought he was good but wouldn't have been in my top 3 best players on the night.

That said I'd pick the same team for Saturday though it would be nice to find a place for Sharp as his record against Barnsley is superb

But we have to judge his recent performances by his early performances, meaning he's at least 10/10 every game....

Same for me too. I had Fleck, Bash and Baldock ahead of Lunny (and possibly Clarke too once he'd scored).

Nowt against Lunny and I was defending him last autumn. He puts the yards in, tackles well but has the odd mishit pass and his shooting accuracy is woeful. He is still young though and I really think there is potnetially a great player in there.

Must win. Let's go for it.

Subs: Eastwood, Lafferty, Leonard, Lundstram, Holmes, Donaldson, Wilson
That's not really "going for it". How about:

Sharp

Duffy T. Smith C.Evans Clarke Donaldson Parkhouse Wilson Oure Brooks Holmes

Or the team that did so well on Monday.

How about considering that Barnsley aren't Cardiff or even Brentford?

Yeah I didn't want it seem like I was criticisg him as he's hugely improved and you would think he's only going to better next season but I did think they were 3 or 4 better than him on Monday.

Bash, Fleck, Leon and George in that order, but Lundstram played very well.

Am I allowed to point out that Brooks did very little and that Lee Evans is primed for the scapegoat role when Lunny isn’t playing?

No.

Stick to criticising Little Louis, Monty and Ironside. If you want a longer post have a go at the S2 hoofers, and the cap-doffing-crowd in general.

You are on familiar territory there and shouldn't get too lost.

I counted 5 in a row he mindlessly hooked it on to nobody it was around 60-70th minute. He was very poor IMO shows how football really is a game of opinions.

Against Barnsley i'd like to see

Moore

Basham Wright O'Connell
Baldock Stevens
Evans Fleck

Brooks
Sharp Clarke

Maybe Holmes instead of Brooks and bring Brooks on with half hour to play, seems to be better suited to that this year.
Starts will come next season surely.

Doesn't matter which team we put out, Blades to win and O2.5 goals 3/1 fill yer boots ;)
