Team Thursday

Close but Ohare has to be in the team
They are the obvious two calls:
O’Hare vs Moore - one superb at pressing, one pretty much negates and aerial threat from set pieces.

Holding vs Robinson - Robinson is captain, part of the worst PL defence ever and you know a likely Wilder pick whereas Holding happens to have played 30 games in Europes elite competitions and for Arsenal. Tough choice when you put it in black and white!

Cooper
Choudhury Holding Anel Burrows
Souza Peck
JRS O'Hare Hamer
Moore

Subs: Davies, Gilchrist, Robinson, McCallum, T.Davies, Brooks, Brereton, Oné, Campbell

I want:
-------------------Cooper-------------------
Choudhury----Anel------Holding-----Burrows
--------------Peck-----------Souza---------
Rak-Sakyi----------Hamer-------------Brooks
------------------Campbell------------------

But I think it'll be:

-------------------Cooper-------------------
Choudhury------Anel-----Robinson-----Burrows
O'Hare----------Peck--------Souza--------Hamer
-------------Campbell-------Moore-----------

O'Hare and Peck played well together yesterday, pace, quick passing and on the front foot, if they can continue where they left off yesterday I'd definitely play them on Thursday

I'd start Gilchrist. Reason being I'm not sure Souza can do 90 minutes, and it would be good to have a fresh Choudhury to replace him. No reasonable justification for Cannon to be in the squad ahead of these 20.

‐-----------------'Cooper
Gilchrist Holding Anel Burrows
JRS Peck O'Hare Souza Hamer
--------------Campbell

Subs:
Davies
Seriki
Robinson
McCallum
Choudhury
Brooks
Brewster
Brereton-Diaz
Moore

-------------------Cooper
Choudhury--Anel---Holding------Burrows
---------------Souza-------------Peck
---JRS---------------O'Hare-------------Hamer
----------------------Campbell

Subs: A Davies, McCallum, Gilchrist, Robbo, T Davies, BBD, Brooks, Moore, Cannon

Hell remove someone we need on the bench to make a place for Brewster though.

I think this is the right way to go, but it's great that we've experimented with 2 up front as it gives us a plan B.

Seriki's injury is a major blow, as I'd have been very tempted to start with him & Brooks as they combine so well together.

Predicted line up: (4-2-3-1)
Cooper
Choudhury Ahmedhodzic Robinson Burrows
Peck Souza
Brereton-Diaz O’Hare Hamer
Campbell

Bench:
Davies, Holding, Gilchrist, McCallum, Davies, Brooks, Rak-Sakyi, Brewster, Moore

This is how I see Wilder setting us up. Bristol City play in a 3-4-3 so I think it’s more likely we see a number 10 in this game rather than two upfront.

I want 2 upfront but it's really hard to play O'Hare if we do. And, for me, he is our most important player.
