All I ask is at the bare minimum Fleck is dropped.
However if I had complete control it would be:
Wes
Anel Egan Robbo
Baldock Osborn
Doyle
Berge McAtee
Mcburnie Ndiaye
Coulibaly in the midfield would also be a shout over Berge however I do think Berge is still the stronger option despite his dip in form. I thought at Reading on Tuesday he was one of our best players and I overheard Reading fans after the game saying "without that big Norwegian in their side they're nothing" which is quite funny considering this is the SanderBergeHateClub.com recently. Perhaps we're being too harsh on him and he will refind that form.
Also Ciaran Clark over Egan I also wouldn't protest. Think when he's played he has been brilliant and recently he's just been sitting on the bench.
I think the idea of a 4 back would be brilliant however we don't have the facilities for that as our CBs minus Anel are too slow and we'd get run off the park. As well as the only full backs that are fast enough to perhaps help out would be Bogez and Lowe however they're more wingers than Full backs lol. If we do play a 4 back I would very much like to see this:
Wes
Baldock Anel Robbo RND
Berge Doyle Mcatee
Bogle Mcburnie Ndiaye
I really like the idea of Bogle RW in a 4 back, I think if he's got the defensive cover with 3 in midfield and Baldock at RB he will have the ability to express himself fully going forward and not have to worry about getting back anywhere near as much. As well as the ability to switch to 442 when defending with Bogle dropping into Right Midfield. If we can get a solid and fast midfield solidified for the next couple of years by buying Doyle and Macca and a fast back line (mostly LCB) then switching to a 4 back would be more than ideal, with the likes of Brewdog and Jebbo also being able to challenge for a more distinguished, fast and electric front 3.
