Maybe Duffy for Dowell for me. Otherwise same.

I woulf start Duffy personally. Watching Crutchinson trying to get the ball of him might be quite amusing, and Duff has a better delivery into the box from out wide.

When the Crutch picks up his inevitable yellow bring on Dowell and let's see how long the pig lasts against a bit of pace.

Unpopular I know - but I believe in the law of 'always core against teams played for" so I would play McGoldrick in the 10 role so we have him and Madine (one is bound to score) and Sharp who will be dying to get one.

Martin Cranie has strarted 4 league games from Wigan away, and we've kept a clean sheet in all 4.

After a fantastic assist against WBA I feel he may deserve to start.

Can't dispute that logic, but one thing I've come to expect from Wilder is that he'll pull out a surprise inclusion just because he and Knill have appreciated a point about the opposition that most of us have missed. Whichever team the Blades start the game with will know exactly what's expected of them, and the bench will have quality as and when it's called upon. Personally can't wait for this to start, for no other reason than I've seen suggestions from the pigs that because they've won a couple of games they're suddenly on a par with the Blades.......dream on ladies UTMB!!!

Why not play Fleck on the left and Norwood on the right like we always do?

Duffy has to start and I’m sure he will. We need his trickery and after being rested last time out, he’s surely in line for a start.
I don't think he will start with Duffy and McGoldrick

I would go with Dowell instead of Duffy. Gets a tackle in and very direct with his running. I think CW will start with McGoldrick but, it it is right that the Pigs now play with a high defensive line, he might throw a surprise and start with Hogan whose pace might push them back

Duffy to start, Dowell in the wings to give us a second wind, start with Duffy's excellence in possession.

Sharp and McGoldrick, the form two and creative. Hogan and Madine to add a second wind.

We've got real depth now.

When you think of our first 11 now, turning up to play our usual way, bombing forward, I'm genuinely buzzing for the derby. It's about the only thought that I don't get nervous about, our lot showing them how to play on their own turf.

Hopefully Dowell will start, run 25 yards into their half...draw a foul;win a FK and put Hutchinson on an early booking tightrope...then John Fleck steps up to bend the ball around the piggy wall and 1-0 United.
Duffy can come on the last half hour and finish them off

Dowell for me, his running will draw fouls, hopefully Duff can come on and get a quick goal too. Madine and Sharp up front, Hogan to be subbed on to add some pace late on, keep them occupied.

Elsewhere, the usual. Baldock for his pace because they have a quick RB don't they?

It'd be hard to tell Cranie to sit on the bench but I think Bash comes back in.

The lads who have come in at the back in the last few games have done magnificently well , but on Monday we have to start with Basham , O'Connel & Egan.

Stevens and Freeman at wing back for me. That's assuming O'Connell comes straight back in. He may start O'Connell on the bench, leave Enda at CB and keep Johnson at wing back.
What I like is that I have confidence in any of them now. Johnson is much improved and Stearman and Cranie have been magnificent when they've been called on.
Further forward there's a case for any of Duffy, Dowell or McG for the number 10 role with Sharp and Madine up front. I'd like to see Madine get a game as he'll be bang up for it.
Again, I have confidence in whatever the line-up is. I also have confidence that any of them coming off the bench will contribute.
COYRAWW!

Could do the same as last season with Basham in midfield rather than starting Dowell or Duffy.

After a fantastic assist against WBA I feel he may deserve to start.

I she the new Jake Wright?

Subs: Moore, Cranie, Johnson, Coutts, Duffy, Dowell, Hogan

Have to get the first choice players back in. No fucking about.

Anyone who'd even consider playing Johnson if O'Connell is fit is a complete idiot.

McGoldrick has looked good in that position and they won't be expecting it. He offers experience, goal threat and the ability to battle and win the ball.

Dowell could be a great sub to bring on, as could Hogan.

Probably what I'd start with. Cranie maybe deserves a start, but Bash can step into midfield and change our shape without using a sub. Duffy came off the bench last year remember.

Moore, Stearman, Cranie, Coutts, Goldie, Duffy, Hogan

some good players missing out of the 18
