In my opinion, the short term contract nature of women’s football outside the top league is holding back its further development. It’s difficult for a championship club to build momentum, if players only stay for a season or their good youth players leave for nothing. Makes it difficult for the supporter base to engage, as any player that does well, is gone the following season.

I think the men's contracts should include a 1% tax which goes towards the women's team.
