21 year old striker on loan at Birmingham from Fulham. 12 goals in 40 games for a shit team. (obviously includes sub) England u21s aswell.

Picked up from Exeter as a youngster where his dad Adam was a legend (RIP).

I suppose people may say its blocking Osula/Jebbison etc but he's more experienced and proven than any of our youth, we don't know if any of them will score goals next season. Marsh/One/Macedo/Hackford would be loaned out for me anyway.

Think I’d rather use Osula for that kind of role. He’s got the attributes to be an absolute menace in the championship.

I would be all over this signing.

Been good this season in a poor side and had a good goal record. Got experience at Championship level. 12 goals in that side is good going. In a side that we hope is front footed would score more!

He's performed well in a shite Birmingham team, similar stats to what Archer achieved.

Where is the evidence Osula/Jebbison are going to get us the goals needed starting every week?

There’s not much evidence on paper I’ll admit. Equally, there’s no evidence (or much) that Osula wouldn’t make those numbers in the championship himself. However he (Osula) is far too good for the development team, he’s got a very good eye for goal, makes fantastic runs and has decent link up play. I’d much rather go into the season with a player of our own with the potential to step up (personally think he’d be fine in the championship) unless he’s the second coming of R9 anyone thinking he’d play above how he’s played in the premier league are very much misguided.

As for Jebbison, he’s similar in build and intelligence, but the jury’s out on wether he’ll recover or continue making progress after such a lengthy lay off.

Osula just bagged a first half hat trick for u21s. Needs that league goal bug off his back.

Osula needs to work hard on holding the ball up and holding defenders off. For a tall guy he's easily swatted and nudged away. Can't see him making it until this is rectified... But it should be very doable.

Totally agree re Osula, whilst he took his chances v well he needs to improve his overall game management, how to play others in and move better off the ball. Feel he has lost a bit of confidence being unable to score and play well in the premier but back with the u21s he proved yesterday that he has improved.
He has all the raw materials to make a good striker but needs to learn the game and six months on loan in div 1 may do his confidence and education no harm at all.
all depends how much we need him though

Marsh is ready for the championship now ( needs to fill out a bit) most talented of the bunch ! The rest maybe loans in most cases! Osula & Jebbison will be around the 1st team all in my opinion of course.plenty of talent still in and around the 21' s

I wasn't impressed with Marsh yesterday - although that's only one game in isolation, I know.
I thought Peck and Curtis were the standouts for us, but I also remember being super impressed with Harrison Neal a couple of years ago and thinking he'd be the next big thing at the lane! Shows what I know! :p

Marsh is a v good player but Needs to learn how to bring others into the game as he in my opinion tends to be blinkered and selfish on the ball. Something that will come in time but for me a reason why he needs to go out on loan for six months

Osula wouldn’t score 12 in the championship in a top team let alone Birmingham’s. Not right now anyway. He’s very raw and I think in a year or two you may be right.

Papers reporting fulham want to send him loan again, could do a job for us and try to get him in as part of a souza deal

It's going to be funny when Birmingham lose in the play-off final to Peterborough, or someone.

yes think he will go back to birmingham their splashing big i think their certs for a swift return to the championship
"certs for a swift return to the Championship". How many times have we heard that about big clubs dropping into League 1 ?
You may be right, but history tells us it often doesn`t happen.

Quite surprised you think that! He has a real football intelligence which bellies his age and experience.
He can see a pass better than most.

I agree that he sometimes sees things quickly and no doubt has a wonderful eye for a pass to slip people in, but sometimes just seems to be v blinkered and go for goal at the expense of everything else, but that is I suppose something that all great goal scorers get accused of. Either way I would rather have hung on to him than Osula.
Seems we have similar admiration for a potentially great assett who I was possibly too critical of

i think ryan one will be loaned out but got a feeling louis marsh will be kept with the squad as 5th choice striker wouldnt suprise me to see 2 more strikers come in on loan maybe tom cannon is one of them

I'd say the other way around to be honest. I can see One taking the Osula spot and Marsh being loaned out. I think Peck might get the most game time from the current wave of prospects.

Worth a look we’ve definitely got space for him 6 million might be a bit rich for us though

One and Marsh could be very close to starting at PNE. With the way that the asset stripping is going, both could be well used by us. Hampson might be thereabouts. There is zero chance of us buying a player like Stansfield. We have shown no interest and any transfer now would take us months to get over the line
