We need this guy and several others in asap, but it's looking increasing like it's not the player's ability that's the issue.

We need these players in before the end of next week and can't afford to wait until January - whether Selles is here or not.

I hope this goes through before he has a chance to change his mind after watching that game
Don't think that kind of thing really happens. Agreements will be in place and I am guessing that it will be signed off and announced on Monday - otherwise he would have played today. Besides, he's already said his goodbyes publicly by all accounts.

Why would he be here in the ground if hes not signing for us.

He wouldve been playing had it been any other team than his old one.

It's at the point now where even a defender of his quality won't help us, as we're absolutely woeful and totally lacking any ideas in the final third. Has a team ever been promoted via a load of draws? Thought not. Selles has to go. It's not working

Could you imagine the atmosphere if suddenly he doesn't sign for us?

Even if it was Real Madrid, that swooped in and took him last minute, the atmosphere from our fans would go from terrible to horrendous. The existing grief we are aiming towards the owners and Sellés would multiply tenfold, even if it wasn't their fault they'd still not be forgiven.

The sad reality is they beat us comfortability without him.
I think comfortably is pushing it. We were poor for at least two thirds of the game yet had most of the possession and had the best chances with 4 of them well saved or cleared off the post.

But for their keeper making three v good saves and hitting the inside of the post when it could easily have gone in we could have won that match. That however would not have hidden the fact that the manager picked the wrong team ( cannon ) with one midfield player ( Peck ) capable of putting a tackle in leaving our midfield to be like Moses and the Red Sea.
I was prepared to give him time as he has been dealt a difficult hand with insufficient experienced players available to improve his team and whilst this is to date still the case his awareness, tactics and inability to change things to suit is a big worry

Bloke in the pub post match telling me Tanganga ( spelling), signed yesterday morning for £8 million

The result won’t change a thing, a rival bid offering more wages might

I know that’s pretty simple answer but I think it is that simple
Totally agree. He knew we were playing Millwall and presumably isn’t thick enough to think there’s absolutely zero chance that Sheffield United lose that game and then base his entire decision on this.

Alex Neil said post match that Tangana wanted to play yesterday but the choice was taken out of his hands

Means he has been sold
