Selles does not fit, he plays players out of position, the tactics are abysmal and naive. The last thing we need to do is back this clown. Get shut he’s useless as his record suggests.
Wilder played players out of position. His tactics were abysmal.

We had about 4 good performances last season with plenty of games we should have lost or drawn. The big difference is the fine margins have flipped the other way.

Agreed - this is not so much about Wilder being sacked but more about a shocking replacement appointed.

We've conceded 6 goals this season, how many were down to Robinson eh?
Don't think it's solely down to Robbo, 4 goals against Bristol City when he wasn't even on the pitch.

But most of the goals are coming from the left hand side of our defence (same yesterday), which is even more concerning as we don't want to drop Burrows but something has to change.

You could see their player (Cundle?) running from the left for that ball when it was in the air, and no one stopped him.

Fair points, but if you're asking if 8 months is enough, I'd say no. Wilder was also only dismissed c5 months into their tenure, who was, if rumours are to be believed, one of the main blockers to the changes in structure. As for AI, people still say this as though the board have said this would be the only method of recruitment, which they never did, just that there would be more effective use of data. To some extent, we have to now give Sellés a decent crack of the whip once he has the players in that allows us to change the way we play.
Just fancying a change of scenery in Div 1 then.

That will include the signing on fee.
Is there a contractual difference between calling something a signing on fee rather than salary? If it's paid in equal installments over the length of the contract, isn't it just salary by another name?

Effectively yes, it is. The signing on fee is usually paid over the term of the contract, as are the laughably titled loyalty bonuses.

Souza did a lot of covering down our left last season.

Good points.
Burrows defensively does leave a bit to be desired, I think he is more liable than Robbo for the left side deficiency.

I think my original reply to the anti Robbo post was borne out of people taking their bias against a player into every game.
I always start every player on a clean sheet (yes, even Tom Cannon) and judge them on that performance solely.

Some people seem unable to do that.

Any update for us T-Blade? Tanganga looks all but done. Any decision on Mee? Any midfielder identified now that Iroegbunam has fallen through? Striker? Winger? Manager?!

So a little perspective (from a Mmiillll fan) who is an old friend and who was at the game.

Firstly, he says Tanganga deal
Is done. ☑️

He would have took a draw (2-2) before the game.

He said first half we were there for the taking and not impressed and quite shocked how bad we were. “What’s happened to you lot’

Second half said we were the better team and couldn’t believe we didn’t score.

Fair result would have been a draw.

Tango, as he called him, will make us so much better. Beast of a defender who likes running out with the ball, very mobile. A Basham type of player then.

He likes his song as he chose it for them which is 500 miles by Proclaimers.

Tanganga Tanganga Tanganga Tanganga nah nah nah nana nah nah (with arms going on the nah’s)

Hope the medical team do a thorough job. Heard from a very good source that when he signed for Millwall the club doctor at the time said they’d only get a couple of years out of him with his knee. Neil Harris was manager at the time and said he didn’t expect to be manager in 2 years so signed him anyway

Im sorry but that has to be the most ridiculously implausible story I've ever heard on the internet

That is true. Moved on from Spur and only Millwall willing to take the punt. £8m profit!!

I've said exactly the same, in the conversations I've had.

This isn't just the 4 games this season, it started last season.

Another poster has put the last 10 league fixtures on another thread from last season, which I would suggest all supporters look back at.

The decline started last season, looking at the results in the league.

Everyone is saying "he doesn't have a clue" but no one knows what he is actually capable of, and basing his whole managerial quality and leadership on the 4 results.

On another day we win yesterday 2-1.

I can't blame selles for Cannon or Ohare being unable to control a ball yesterday.

I can't blame selles for another shoddy transfer window leaving us short for 3 games.

I can't blame selles for the fact we took an age to decide we didn't want wilder, by which time we had missed out on some of the free transfers we could have acquired.
But I can blame Selles for playing Cannon and then playing him on the right wing
I can blame Selles for not playing his new defensive midfielder

"On another day we win yesterday 2-1."

What day is this? It's like saying that had Millwall scored two in the first half (which they could have done, by this logic), they may have run out 4-1 winners like Bristol in the first game of the season?

People need to stop making excuses for the current absolute complete and utter garbage being produced by Selles and the team.

Let’s talk after Boro and Ipswich. But unfortunately employing Sellés is about as constructive as putting me in charge of Man Citteh and I know knowt about football having only following the Blades so I might be totally wrong.
No, let’s talk after Watford when he’s actually had all his players for a couple of weeks.
