I'm pissed off with all the sly Wilder slagging. Ffs let's at least get some perspective here. I'll counter your 'ifs buts and maybes' with some facts. Remember where we were in May 2016 when 'the dinosaur' arrived. Remember the 92 points 'the dinosaur' got last season.

We are where we are. I will fully support Selles until/unless it becomes obvious he's not the right man to take us forward. But I will never forget what 'the dinosaur' did for us overall.
Miserable ham faced dinosaur

No idea who this fella is but 🤷‍♂️

That’s the weirdo who was a Man Utd account, then one day changed account name to Shoreham Street FC and was all about Blades, then when outed as a previous Man U page he changed it again to a EPL account. Him and all the accounts like it should be ignored instantly.

Just imagine the position we would most probably now be in if the Cannon money had been spent more wisely on this fella back in Jan ?

Now that would have been smart.

Wouldn’t it ?😉👀.

UTB

You mean still a championship team snd still needing to find at least one more CB ??

I wouldn’t be thinking it’s university challenge smart

Apart from the couple of games against the Blades (which he was outstanding) is this chap all that?

And if so, for 5m why arent we doing more than watching, monitoring, weighing up on so on......

Apparently has a 1.5 million release clause for prem teams yet they all never got the email

I actually don’t mind him tbf

Player set to travel to South Yorkshire over the weekend to complete his medical? I'm guessing he is coming up to play against us.

I suspect we’d all end up being disappointed with Tanganga. Not by virtue of him being a bad signing but I’d argue the benchmark on his ability for the large majority of our fans would be that one exceptional performance at BL a year or so back (whenever it was!)
Our fans are the only ones who would be disappointed with Messi. "Come and sit up here wi' me, Lionel!"

This exactly.
It’s utterly pathetic that so called fans continue to slate a guy who literally turned our club around from stuck in league 1 to a premier league yo-yo team. The mess we’re currently in just underlines what a fantastic job he did last season - rebuilding so quickly after the battering we’d taken in the PL.

Yes he did something special the first time and I will alsways be grateful, but that doesnt mean he cant be questioned. Last season he had a budget to work with, the third biggest in the division. And then instead of using money to get a CH we buy another striker come turkey just like we did with JOC. That was arrogant incompetence TWICE . 92 points meant nothing. It was only where we should have been minimum last season with the funding.

“92 points meant nothing” undermines everything else you say…even though you’re right that he does deserve some criticism just like every other manager out there. Anybody who knows the Championship understands what an incredible achievement 92 points is. Very unfortunately for us, 2 clubs managed to hit 100 points, which is almost unheard of.
Arrogant incompetence is to dismiss a manager who has done such a fantastic job and rather than backing him to complete the job deciding to gamble our future on an unproven manager, backed by an experimental recruitment policy and completely absent leadership/communication from the top. But hey, I’m sure our new owners vast knowledge of English football will soon have us eclipsing all that Wilder achieved.
