I suppose the real opportunity that no one else saw was immediately trying to profit off of the back of George Baldock's death, and then making out like he was the victim all along after people quite rightly called him out on it.

Anyone putting themselves in such a spotlight is going to get some stick and these channels thrive on rumour and speculation so it’s intended to divide opinion.

That’s what drives views.

Reading some of the comments on here I think one issue is this lot ( Ramble, Sheff Utd Way) are seen as being very much in the previous camp. (The Prince) who all appear to have some (unknown) beef with the new owners.

Still, while it’s not my cup of tea I’d not heard of the bloke until I joined this forum so I’m sure he’s getting more subs/views thanks to these discussions.

I think there's a large difference between Ramble & SUW.

That is certainly meant as a compliment to the latter.

The stumbling block it’s hit on our side is that we’re as slow as fuck doing anything.

Yeah, whether Ings does the business or not almost feels irrelevant to me atm.

The fact we’ve had a 3 month transfer window and here we are in the last week of the window looking at 3 aging out of contract players doesn’t come across as a club that has owners that know the direction of travel?

It can help if the full back is an attacking and overlapping type, like Seriki. Some have said Godfrey's come here to play right back and I'm not sure that's good news for Brooks or us.

Cannon and Godfrey offered more or less nothing first half vs Millwall, and I hoped we'd put on Seriki and Brooks at half time.

I always find it a bit strange when a player is thrown into the starting XI a day or two after joining a club. I know that good players should hit the ground running but surely there's a benefit to having a few training sessions to get to know the basics - such as does the player in front want the ball over the top? or to feet? will they come short? - before putting them in.

As an extreme example, Grbic may or may not be a good goalkeeper but he was thrown under the bus by being put straight into the worst United defence in living memory the day after arriving in the country. That was shocking management.

He put a superb cross in last game - I also think he could do a job a bit higher up. I think Brooks could be turned into a good left back too.
