Tanganga

As we're into the last few days of the window where Millwall may find it difficult to find a replacement in time, could we offer Robinson as part of the deal perhaps? I know Robbo won't have much if any transfer value and also not a direct replacement in terms of talent either but he's a hard worker and would be solid enough for a club like Millwall for the second half of the season at least until they can find a permanent replacement in the summer window.
And have gilchrist and RND as backups? No thanks

It wouldn't be a punt. Millwall would be looking for big money for Tanganga.
I don't think he'd be tempted by a Championship move either.
I know - but it will only be for 5 months - everyone knows that ...

Very hard to get good up & coming players out of London - there are so many wealthy clubs they can go to develop their career without leaving the Smoke.

London's not as good as a lot of people on this forum like to make out.

Can't remember when I last commented on this suggestion. I've a slightly dramatically opinioned football friend that used to say regularly Tanganga was the worst Prem player ever etc.

He'd definitely do us a job this season but I doubt we've got another big fee in us(?!) anyway.

Go up to 2m for Dunne or pay another few million more for Japhet? Seems obvious what is more likely

Probably just trying to pressure QPR to accept

Another player whose contract is up in the summer unless they have a year option on the player .. so never going to cost the 10m quoted .

He signed a long term contract when they signed him last year

This is the one that would be a statement signing at CB with the potential to stay with us if we went up. I can understand us wanting a short term option after the significant investment in Cannon but if we’re being forced into investing seriously at CB now rather than in the summer it could be a blessing in disguise

Agreed would be a statement of intent, only 25. Still can’t believe he’s playing for millwall got to be location related

Like everything else ever posted on that website, it's absolutely miles away from being correct.

If we were going to spend silly money on any player this window there were many better options than Cannon and Tanganga is one of them. It would be quite galling to spend big on him though, given he was free in the summer

If we spend big on TWO players that really will be excessive. I could understand if we were strong favourites and just needed to make sure, but as it is, it's a close 4 horse race with the other 2 favourites at least as likely as us to get top 2, probably more so. So spending really big this window would be a big gamble, rather than an expensive insurance policy
