I think he he could be played right wing. Good at getting around back of defence.

I'm increasingly keen on this option. It should make the right side very good defensively too

In any functioning team using our best players, the triangle of Hamer - Burrows - Barry should be dominant, which would suit Seriki on the right, as an outlet, rather than someone receiving the ball all the time in the build up play

Drives me mad that - left footers on the right and vice versa. Both Barry and Brooks have shown that if they want to get to the line and cross with their weaker foot they actually can. So why don't they now and again, just to keep the fullback guessing? Basics! Are they under instruction? Why not swap wings with eachother now and again like other teams seem to do? I thought the point of playing with wingers was to get to the byline quickly and whip a cross in - not slow down the attack and come back inside EVERY time!

I wonder if in the 30-40 years since everyone played four four fucking two, someone ran the numbers and worked out that crossing is actually a very low percentage play compared to cutting inside and driving towards goal (while still retaining the option of square balls), culminating in the magnum opus where Moyes thought it was a good idea to instruct the league champions to launch 80 crosses in a single game towards Dan Burn and be confused when he only got a point at home vs Fulham.
