Made me laugh when this news first broke. As the Twitter account I saw it on said "Blades switch attention to Tanganga after being frustrated in pursuit of Bobby Thomas."

Which is basically like saying "I switched my attention to having it off with Jessica Alba after getting frustrated in my pursuit of Pauline Quirk off of Birds of a Feather."

Of course we still have free speech. You said something that's still up there. Others used their free speech to say they didn't find it funny or acceptable. Or are we talking of the free speech where you feel offended if anyone calls you out it.

In one respect Alex is right about the new ‘British way’ in terms of free speech of which I am a defender. Although not agreeing with the woman’s offensive (forgotten her name) comments about immigrants, she removed comments immediately from social media. I equally defend those nutters from Ireland to shout shit about Isreal. The stuff that those delinquents said about killing Jews is a disgrace but they are treated as media darlings, whereas for what that bigoted woman said she was unceremoniously packed off to jail for. I think at the minute it is almost a two tier system, I’d prefer those boys in that band who think they are radical supporting a misogynistic, racist, homophobic, anti democratic terrorist group not to be sent to prison and equally the woman who made offensive remarks about immigrants not to be in prison. As for jokes about Londonistan I’m unclear of how it is racist and would just regard it as an attempt at observational humour that is not particularly accurate and lacking in wit.
