We were fortunate overall that at half time it wasnt 4-0 or 4-1. Or worse at full time.

2nd half we certainly dominated until they scored the 2nd. We then wobbled/heads dropped again for 15 mins. That last min goal gives us something though, only one it at kick off.

Weirdly even though we are fortunate to be going into the 2nd leg a scoreline of 1-6 or so Forest weren't that far superior. But the chances they had were of course. Part of that was good play part of that was being too easily caught out by a chipped ball down the sides. This did generally change 2nd half.

It's worth noting too and I'm not having a dig its a side of the game. But Forests gamesmanship playbook was on top form. They constantly slowed play down when we were on the ascendency. (keeper taking long for goal kicks, throw ins, little shoves and pushes) It added to their overall showing and it's something they will do less at home unless they are hanging on later in the game.

Only one can go up and it may not be us. But with another 90 to go, let's just see nothing to lose now, we have to change the narrative on Tues.

I dont think were sarry enough at the gamesmanship, forest knew every trick, get a player to go down but never bring the physio on, but only do it when we have some momentum or building pressure up

If I'm being honest about it forest probably did the best gamesmanship I've seen for a long while. Not actually too snidey but if halted our ascendency at many occassions

That late goal could be huge. Hopefully give us a massive boost and give them a big scare. COYB.
