Adkins messing up the selection and tactical areas? Oh my, I am surprised.

And this is the man we're going to task with one of the most important rebuilding tasks in our recent history.

This is one of the time's we've needed a change in management as much as anyone with what's ahead.

Get it done so I can get back to the lane and enjoy some of the games again.

Totally agree absolutely ridiculous tactics and substitutions ... For once I might have to listen to NA interview just to here how he explains that loads of bollox
I cannot listen to the man, haven't listened to an interview of his all season. Not one.

That will take years Barney, more likely than not. Since that stubborn twat from Nottingham descended it's been like watching paint dry down there. Will take a 100 per cent clear out to turn it around.

Most managers in this divison would give their right arm to have "43" professional players at their disposal.
The team he inherited just needed tweeking in the summer, that why we all had big expectations for this season.
Adkins is bleating about having too many. Well why doesn't he fuckin try and use them properly.
Yes, when you hear a manager excusing a lack-lustre performance by way of "fatigue", whilst simultaneously excusing our lack of movement in the JTW with having a bloated squad, you have to wonder what the fuck he thinks we're all smoking.

So it is now official. Adkins has previously been lucky and he is completely clueless.

1. Having decided to give everybody a chance (probably because he knew he couldn't afford to buy anyone) he wastes maybe ten games with that ploy and loses points to the rest of our opposition in this division.
2. Having identified his defence is fucking useless (and he can't afford to buy anyone) he belatedly correctly identifies that if he stiffens midfield they will protect the back four and at least we won't concede.
3. He identifies that height and strength is the key to that midfield. May be boring and slow but it works.
4. Having got a bit of a run together with the solid team he has identified as being his "best" he selects it, gets 1-0 up, is in no danger of conceding and then changes three of that successful midfield with two midgets in the wrong positions and a lazy twat.
5. Let's accept that they were letting Swindon come onto them. Let's accept they needed to get back on the front foot. FFS Done was blowing out of his arse, why not keep midfield stiff and put JCR or Che on to chase everything and take the pressure off?

I just give in.

And by the way, if he says hardworking and honest again he can pick up the phone and fuck right off.

Spot on Snowman.

Adkins was appointed in June. He and the board had three months in the summer to address point's 1, 2 and 3 in your post. They wasted a quarter of the season in giving some players a chance that everyone could have told him were not good enough. They also add three extremely slow and pondering players in Sammon, Hammond and Woolfood to a team and squad that was already lacking pace.

Both Adkins and the board are to blame for our current plight, not Clough as some like to make out. Clough left in May, who's to say what changes he would have made to the squad.

The board and Adkins have had a whole transfer window, plus this one to make changes to the squad and improve the brand of football. They've failed miserably in both aspects.

The only positive from this season is Billy Sharp. Good on the lad and great to see him scoring goals and giving his all for the club.

We have all seen enough of Reed to know that he's not going to contribute anything positive if you bring him on.

Everyone except the most deluded have seen enough of Flynn to know he's not going to contribute anything positive if you bring him on.

I despair of Adkins. Why does he keep trying things that didn't work last season, let alone this?

No more scrappy midgets.

Edited. Ignore me, I'm just sad about the result.

The subs yesterday were indeed odd! Flynn would be near the top of my list for getting rid off. He hasn't really done anything since that FA cup run.
