Id drop him for next game & play Rothwell / Riedewald, then bring him on... hes been poor last few games and I think he needs a gentle kick up arse to get back to what we know hes capable off, also coming on for one of those would inject energy when needed.

He's been decent for us without being outstanding. Not a Prem player for me.

Massive fail within his game - can't shoot doesn't score vitually ever!!
Hes got scope to develop further, and could be even better with the right & better players around him.

He needs to cut out the safe sideways and backwards passing. He can drive game forward, we've seen this of him but im not sure if its down to instructions or himself playing it safe.

& As you say be more selfish and let fly, he seems reluctant, which given his goal vs Leicester im not sure why.. was great finish with great technique.

I feel He could be bottom half prem player / yo yo team.

Think he's run out of steam and needs sending on holiday for the rest of the season. We've flogged him to within an inch of his life this season and it's starting to show....
Yes but we’ve been saying since before Xmas if he can’t play 46 games at his age well what can you say

Arblaster is the far superior player if you're looking at potential premier league quality but he needs a pre season to bulk up and get his self strong enough to.withstand the rigours of championship football first

I

He's not fit
Surely you can see how much muscle mass he's lost. ?
Nice try! Anyone with functioning eyes that aren't covered in Bladey McBaldieness can see the modern centre midfielder is all about physicality and power. Even when fully fit, Arblaster moved like he was carrying a double bass.

I've said it for ages, there's a certain section of our fanbase who the longer Arblaster isn't playing, he turns into the second coming of Steven Gerard.

Nothing to.do fanbase
Anyone who knows football can see arblaster has terrific talent he's just not fit
He looks about two.stone underweight

Yes McAllister, Bernado Silva, Zubimendi, John McGinn, Bruno Fernandes etc confirm this.

There’s only one reason a section of our fanbase rate Arblaster higher than Peck and it’s simply because he’s a boyhood Blade and Peck isn’t.

That's just nonsensical
Doesn't make any difference to me I just comment on what I see , admittedly he hasn't played well this season but last season before his injury he was the highest rated player in the division.not midfielder not born in Sheffield supporting the blades midfielder but PLAYER !

Nah blaster did well in his half season in the premier league. Let's not rewrite history here. That's why he's rated. Hopefully he can return to that level

Nope, that’s not even a consideration for me. My judgement is formed using my own eyes.

I rateD Arblaster higher than Peck because before his injury he was a far more progressive, quick thinking front footed footballer.

The stats from last season back it up too. Despite playing far fewer games Arblaster had more goals, assists, chances created and key passes than Peck.

This season, he’s absolutely miles off Pecks level. Peck has developed as a footballer gaining experience while Arblaster has lost a year of development and has had a massive physical set back.

We shouldn’t be judging Arblaster until he’s had a full pre season. It takes players long enough to catch up after missing a pre season never mind a full year and a pre season. When I partially ruptured my ACL it took me 6 months after being declared fit to play to feel anything like fit.

I don’t see why it has to be a competition anyway. They’re both our players why can’t people support them both. Peck has carried the weight of the team on his shoulders at times and he’s about as close to being a blade as you can possibly get now. We’ve barely ever seen a neutral player embrace the club has he has.

We have two cracking young players in Blaster and Peck.

Blaster is clearly on his way back from a horrendous injury that most people underestimate, physically and mentally it’s a tough one to come back from at all. Blaster will get himself back.

Peck had a tremendous season last season in a side that was exceptional. The play offs didn’t help him.
He started this season with an incredibly weak midfield, expected to carry things in a fantasy midfield that took some changing even after Selles left.
Peck is a fine player. Blaster is too.

Peck, for me, has the higher ceiling he’s a brilliant player

The main thing he lacks is a burst of acceleration. I love him as a player but he’s very one paced and I think that’s going to stop him succeeding at the top level.
That and his at-times painful one-footedness, particularly when dribbling. For some reason it’s acceptable in left footed players but not right footers.
Blaster has been piss poor this season
Blaster had 14 months out after suffering what is probably the second worst ligament injury. Rodri isn’t the fully back and he’s 6 months ahead of Arblaster in his recovery. We’ll be in a much better position to judge in August.

Arblaster pre-injury was head and shoulders above Peck. Peck's improved massively in the last 18 months (but seems to have really dipped in the last 6 weeks) but I'd still say pre-injury Arblaster was better than current Peck.
