Swindon pubs

Bit late in the day: I'm heading to Swindon with BladeInThatcham , Ollessendro , moDtheGod and a couple of others.

We'll be there with some time to kill before the game so does anyone know of a decent pub between the ground and the station? It doesn't look hopeful from beerintheevening and the Swindon & North Wilts CAMRA website is beyond useless.

I worked in Swindon many years ago and we used to use a cracking back street pub, The Gluepot, that I see was in the 2011 Good Beer Guide as a local CAMRA stalwart. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the ground and the address is 5 Emlyn Square SN1 5BP.

I'm on the train getting in about quarter to 6 or so - thinking about one or two in town and then head out in direction of the ground. I guess people driving in will be nearer the ground?
