Where’s the so called press
Where’s the so called excellence that Selles quoted
Where’s the so called high intensity
I thought exactly the same. I can only conclude that these players can't (or dare I say won't?) play Selles ball.

That performance was an utter disgrace. Inexplicably bad, with no quality, no desire and all round brain dead decision making.

0 shots on target.
They should have had 2 or 3 more easily.

YOU CANT IGNORE THE FIRST 4 GAMES OF THE SEASON BY DELAYING TRANSFERS. How do we keep making this mistake every year!?
The one person that’s been here throughout is Bettis…..

I’ve put it on a different thread but I reckon Scott Parker is available by October. Or Wilder.

I makes me wonder if the players got away with crap under Wilder and Selles is the other way. They're clearly not playing for the Manager that's obvious. I do feel sorry for Selles in a way. I do want him to succeed. But he's got hopeless owners and certain arseholes on the pitch taking the piss.
Don't feel sorry for him. It's his job to motivate them and getting them performing.

Baffling hire

Well what can you say about today’s game, that’s not already been mentioned?!?..fully accept the squad is poorer then what it was last season, but after watching the match you’ve got to question the managers tactics. Swansea had us sussed from the get-go.. trying to pass out from the back when the defence is already wobbly (trying to be fair to them!); no service upfront to the strikers & generally a lack of belief all round. Feel genuinely sorry for Selles as he’s been hung out to dry by the owners with their crazy belief that AI recruitment will stand them well in the Championship - absolutely shocking start to the season & I can’t any quality signings coming in to fill the gaps before window closes. If Selles walks (along with some of the players) then I can’t blame him… Will the owners be eating humble pie soon & begging CW to come back & steady the ship??

If you're going to change a manager, maybe give some thought about whether the current squad will fit in with his proposed methods/style. Also look to back him with players to fit into that...
Also, if you're replacing the manager of a top of the table team. Bring in one that the squad can buy in to, being recently sacked by Hull is hardly likely to engender dressing room respect

that was a concerning performance, as its not defence at fault now. as besides the brief flashes of attacking intent. it looked like the best we could hope for was 0-0. as we could played all night & failed to score

Despite the result last week we actually played quite well for a while, was just a mess at the back. Today was nothing like that, the basic shape of the midfield when out of possession was better, O'Hare was the only one slightly out of position but the performances and passing were mostly awful.

They didn't seem to have any issues with him or the system pre season.

Peck on a 1/10 performance at the moment, he’s been shocking,
It looks like he wants away and he’s angry because Snek hasn’t even opened the bid emails from every club in the PL, LaLiga, SerieA and Bundesliga yet.

Thing is, even with the transfer debacle, these players should be good enough to get more than zero points against middling 2nd tier teams like Bristol C and Swansea.

The Buck stops with the manager, surely.
