Lad i work with plays football for a team called, Litherland Remyca in the North West Counties Premier Division, they were recently kicked out of the FA Cup as they played a lad who had an outstanding fine for a yellow card from the previous season, looks like an oversight from the club?

A crowd funding page was set up by an ex player to cover the lost revenue and costs of the fine,

Jack O'Connell played for the club when he was 16, he kindly donated shy of £400 to cover the costs

i appreciate footballers do alot for grass roots football but thought this was worth a mention

great gesture top man

If only football clubs in the professional tier can get help from their richer counterparts when they're in trouble.

Only when deserved scooter...wouldn't want to see the likes of Bolton helped when they have spent the last decade over spending to firstly get to the premier league then try to get back there

That's magic !

Disgraceful how clubs can get kicked out of the FA Cup for not paying a £10 fine yet clubs can spend millions that they haven't got and get away with it time and time again.
Or use ineligible players in crucial premier League survival matches
