Got no issue with Sunderland, congratulations on a fantastic season and even better they prevented Brentford from getting there
Shame about Bournemouth ☹

That was down to Prince A having no money ….. the skint Prince. He’s done very well out of us - I doubt he’s made a lot more from the sale than he ever put in.
Think with the Prince is that though his wealth had its limits, his decision making was pretty sound.

Yes we had a torrid PL campaign.

But the fact we had it at all was because he squeezed his arse cheeks together and didn’t panic during the prior season. Yes, we didn’t spend much at all but we did keep Berge and Ndiaye long enough for it to be a promotion campaign.

Now we were ill equipped and I dare say Hecky, Will poor tools nonetheless, was probably a bit too attacking and open and should have played a lot more conservatively.

I often thought instead of playing two up top, he just should just handed the 10 role to McAtee and packed the midfield more. Maybe Hamer, Souza and another defensive body.

Good luck to them. They rode their luck in last seasons play offs v Cov C & then us and were fortunately able to spend big & their gamble paid off. I’m actually glad they stayed up as it finally pushed a couple of poor Premier League teams through the trap door with Wolves & West Ham.

However I hope Burnley don’t go straight back up….. they have rode their luck big time & will be in serious financial trouble if they miss out & lose parachute money.
I feckin hate Burnley but if they are potentially in £ trouble ,
Just think where we are 🙄

We need to focus on things we can control, not those that we can't. There's absolutely nothing we can do about VAR. There is when it comes to team selection, subs, our approach, making stupid mistakes in injury time.
We're still piss poor at controlling those🙄

Yep, supposed to be the replacement for Billy Dearden 😂
Unreal.
He was the antithesis of Dearden.
Couldn't finish his dinner.
Not researched it but is "Billy" the name most synonomous with prolific goalscorers at the Lane I wonder🤔
Gillespie,Dearden n Sharp being 3 that immediately spring to mind.
