The Sunday Times Sports section (John Aizlewood) is tipping us to finish 19th in the PL. Better than some of the others e.g. Adrian Durham that fellow on Talksport or whatever it was!

Has Norwich finishing 20th and Burnley to be relegated as well, with Brighton just avoiding the drop. Villa tipped to finish 14th. I hope someone is making a note of all these pundits predictions so we can (hopefully) rub their noses in it at the end of the season.

According to Wikipedia "Aizlewood has reported from every Premier League ground and has interviewed countless sporting icons from Harry Kane and Jordan Pickford to Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs, [Edit - but almost certainly not CW) via Adam Peaty and Tai Woffinden.
"He is one of Britain’s leading music writers currently writes for Mojo, Q and Classic Rock. He has interviewed almost every major pop star of the past three decades, including Kurt Cobain, Fugees, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Enya, Kate Bush, Beyonce,Britney Spears, Bon Jovi, Pet Shop Boys, Simply Red, Mark E. Smith, Frankie Valli, Iron Maiden, Kylie Minogue, Depeche Mode, Celine Dion, Chris Cornell, Joe Strummer, Take That, George Michael, Mariah Carey, Cranberries, Blur, Iron Maiden, Public Enemy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Amy Winehouse, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Shania Twain, The Cure, Sting and a host of others."
Not sure that reporting from every PL ground makes him "an expert". Suggests he hasn't been to many Championship games but he seems eminently more qualified to rate Ed Sheeran's latest single.

Stunt Peg tipped us for 19th and I have more belief in her because she had Brighton as 20th. She's still wrong.

Last year the majority of pundits said we would finish about 12th and Norwich about 15th, so what does that tell you 💤💤💤

With the number of his musical interviewees that have passed on its fair to assume the guy is a fucking jinx

We know we’re going to loose a few, probably quite heavily. But I think we will surprise enough to stay up, getting points on early will be the key, in the same way we did 2 seasons ago. Riding the euphoria of promotion and catch teams before they figure out our game. Write off results against the big teams, especially away, but we should fear no one from 8th last season down, especially at home. Looking forward to seeing Harry back at the lane, gerrim turned and reckon we could beat them!!

You. Know sometimes i think. Blades fans are a load of fucking tossers man up ffs top. 6 yeah untouchable but we might beat one or two at home. From. 10th 11th place down its much of a muchness. On a crest of a wave momentum. Is through the roof 45 million spent. pigs light years behind and still. Negativity and worry wtf enjoy. Ive watched united in the fourth division so ffs does it matter who says what just be thankful for good times . in Wilder we trust!!

I can remember us beating arsenal last time round ,man yoo a few times before that and I've seen us beat Liverpool Chelsea ( 4-2 ) and spurs 6-0
So you're absolutely right brother

T'owd Premier League is more like three divisions in one....
We need to win against those other teams who will be with us in the Bottom Six Mix - Anything gained from the Middle 8 and the top six is more of a bonus

He is going to look a right tit come the end of the season, and he won't be the only one either.

Al bet if you called the pundits out even for a 50/50 bet they wouldn't take it.

If you can't have a bit of belief after the last 3 seasons, when can you?

Cannae wait personally.

To be fair if I was in their position and not a Blade I'm sure id predict the same. As Roygbiv said in one of the recent podcasts, you don't mind being tipped to go down as long as there's a valid reason behind it....not just "I've never heard of their signings so they've got no chance".

and I don't think I've heard a reason yet, other than they're signing Championship players. (Not many players have only ever played in top leagues all of their careers).

Who cares if he thinks we'll be relegated.
I couldn’t give a shit. Last season two of the three promoted clubs came straight back down so obviously we’re going to be one of the favourites. If football was easy to predict it would be boring. We start the season with hope and some pundits’ opinion aren’t going to put a dent in that.

he's interviewed Iron Maiden, Chris Cornell, Public Enemy, Kate Bush and a bunch of nobodies.. he doesn't know shit about music either ;)

umm .. the 'best' champinship players. ie those that are obviously too good for that league which would suggest that they belong in the one above.
