Moring all, Plymouth fan here. I just wanted to direct people's attention towards a Preview of the Derby on Sunday that I've written on thetwounfortunates, which is a Championship website that I run with a Reading fan:

The Thursday Preview: Sheffield Wednesday Vs Sheffield United

I think Wednesday might have more desire going into the game, but a sold-out away end can be an influential thing, so who knows what'll happen.

There's plenty of other Blades-related articles on the site, too.

Minor query: how has Marcel Seip done since he joined? He's due back at the end of the season, but he's burnt his bridges with us and I can't see him playing in League One, even if his wife is the daughter of our ex-Chairman. Also, what do you think of Paul Connolly? He left us in 2008 seeking better things (and wages) but doesn't seem to have pushed on as he might have.

Best of luck on Sunday.

You may be onto a theme here with the "Manager Kevin Blackwell, who always struck me as a tad too short for a goalkeeper," line.

Any more "Kevin Blackwell, who always struck me as a tad to xxxx for a yyyy" lines we can think of?

Not a bad review at all that lloyd, glad to see its not just us here in Sheffield who are incredulous that the game is not on the TV. But hey, can't let Newcastle miss out, can we, as they are playing your boys Monday night, for their 43rd live game of the season.

Best of luck to you in your relegation battle as well. I hope you beat Newcastle on Monday, theyve been getting on my tits of late. If the worst eventuality comes for you I would imagine you're well equipped to challenge for promotion in League One next year.

Marcel Seip has done ok. Looks quite steady and dependable. He has made only one error I can think of (at Home to QPR). Taarabt's equaliser was basically his fault. He completely fluffed a clearance and then Taarabt had too much pace and power for him as he tried to nudge him off the ball. Fairly uncharacteristic error though and I didnt read too much into it. Happens to the best. I think United will sign him if you boys go down.

Paul Connolly looks fairly tidy. Doesn't offer a great deal going forward but you can rely on him to defend properly in most situations. We were warned by Derby fans that he was a flop but I think he's done OK. He was sent off in injury time against Barnsley but it didnt really matter and things like that tend to endear you to Blades fans! I can't see us signing him permanently but you never know.
