Having read this. I'm left wondering if it's just a big wind up?. It'd be good if we did get extra investment but I've a feeling it'll turn out to be nothing more than someone joining or leaving the board of directors?!. This kind of story has done the rounds before so excuse me for being negative!!. In

The last few months will have made us infinitely more of an attractive proposition for wealthy backers.

My worry would be that for every Man City,Chelsea, Arsenal type situation you have a Hull City, Cardiff or Wendy’s type situation when you end up getting a lunatic, albeit a rich one !

Be VERY careful what you wish for.

Whether there is any credence in this I don`t know. However, I can see the attraction for an investor given that there can`t be too many clubs left with our potential for new investors. Deeper Saudi investment could be a possibility, although ideally I`m sure we would all prefer any investor to be a genuine Blade.

If people think it’s investment why does “wit” think it’s a negative thing?

Is he reliable?

I agree with that.

The frustration is though that IF significant funds are to be invested, the time for this was a month ago when a genuine tilt at second spot was still on the cards and achievable. This opportunity now seems to have slipped through our fingers.

But the tweet states McCabe isn't getting help, which suggests HRH isn't chucking his share into the pot, so would it be Saudi investment?

Who knows ? Lets hope that any news is good in that it genuinely benefits the club.

Because it may be connected to McCabe giving up his interest in the club, selling his half to someone else. Whatever people say about the decisions he's made in the past, he won't sell us down the river. No one knows what a new owner has in the back of his mind, he could be a top bloke who just wants the best for the club, he could be well meaning but an idiot who gets taken advantage of by 'football people' or he could be an idiot and a dictator like Chansiri.

IW has been playing these games all season on Twitter.

Based on previous I'd guess he's just wumming because he's got loads of new followers since Wilder took over.

Whether he is or he isn't, it surprises me he goes off like he does with his good mate the gaffer.

If I was manager I wouldn't want my mate spilling stuff or stirring the fans on a wind up either way.

This. This guy has got previous for these sorts of posts and so far they’ve come to nothing.

Sounds like a right load of crap. We will probably hear nothing about nothing in the coming weeks because nothing is happening. Don't get sucked in again about new investment.......seen it all before.
My thoughts exactly. I've just posted the same sentiments earlier. Utb

If the Prince is taking over entirely and bringing money then I'm not that worried. He's been around us a while now, and has said he wants Wilder to be our Alex Ferguson which reassures me that he's not a loon.

He would also probably give Kev a role as an advisor or something so he'd still be about.

Let's face it McCabe is 70, he's done a lot for us stability wise, not always gave us wads of cash but we own everything and we're not crippled by debt, so if he wants to sell up and move to a tropical island, fair play.

If it's the other way and the Prince is going, I can't see much changing.

If it's the third option and someone entirely new is coming in. Wait and see I suppose, it's not like Wendy going from businessman to businessman whom have no interest whatsoever in the sport, l imagine if McCabe is going he would do it half decently and only leave if certain criteria were met.

Obviously it could all go tits up, alternatively we might be in Europe in 5 years, or nothing could change.

So basically it's a shrug and see type deal.

The Prince hasn't invested what McCabe expected, and McCabe would like to see the back of him, not the other way around.

We are in trouble if the deal goes the other way.
