Not really no. I think you’re making piss poor excuses. Wilder has 9 subs available to him but puts Norwood on every single time. I’d rather a youngster from the academy. Arblaster has done alright. Maybe try another one or two.

Definately run more off the ball which is why its such a weird tactic (which Wilder 100% promotes). We forfeit control, energy, offensive play and put our goal under more stress. Using more energy means we have to rely on the bench more in the later stages. Some of these teams we can’t compete with evenly but 17% possession is what i’s expect from a league 1 club against a very average Man U.

It’s ironically a tactic designed to keep us in games and concede fewer rather than going toe to toe. We still conceded 4 though, again.
