He is on a 6 week pre-season training program according to Wilder's presser, I will assume he is already 2 weeks into that?
If he is 2 weeks into this mini preseason (not sure if he is or not), would probably see him around mid to late November.

In the early part of the season I was imploring Wilder to utilise his squad/subs more proactively.
This week he has really shown that he can do it to very good effect and I applaud his moves in the last 2 games.
His recruitment in the summer has been excellent and what stands out to me is the "togetherness" he seems to have generated in the players mentality.
We have been fortunate to have avoided playing teams in the emerging "top six" whilst our new squad has knitted itself together , but we should now have the confidence to face them in a positive frame of mind.

Unnecessary.. Why bring Gus on & risk a yellow ?

I said this in the game thread, but Wilder bringing on Hamer in the exact minute where the refs usually find their cards is peak negligence. If he wanted to avoid a suspension he starts Hamer and takes him off at that point instead

Did I miss Hamer getting booked?

Thank fuck for that. Didn't realise your post had no point.
Ah, the old "don't reply directly to the poster because I don't want to be challenged" trick, I like the cut of your jib. Separate your mind from what actually happened and look at the process, and you might learn something. But probably not. Nothing bad happened, so the manager must be right

You're catching on.

In hindsight it’s easy to see the Luton game at home, as the ideal time to start some, and bench a few. It worked very well in terms of resting or protecting players, and keeping others on their toes with some first team game time.

It will give Wiider the confidence to try it again, but we will probably lose at Stoke or Bristol? I still think it’s an excellent use of the Squad.
