For as much Wilder has been criticised for not bringing subs on early enough, or the wrong ones, I thought they were perfect today, really studied the team for that grind in the second half, the Mcallum sub especially. Was nice to see Shakleton fit and being given game time.

In fairness to him our bench is our weak spot as it lacks quality and game changers, not that it's his fault. Throwing inexperienced kids on in the 60th-65th minutes is not always going to be the right move. That said, the likes of Campbell, Brewster, McCallum and Shackleton should be able to make a difference where needed. Our bench was massively defence heavy or kids. There weren't many tactical options on it.

I criticised Wilder (and deservedly so), after the QPR match as his lack of subs cost us the win, but today he got it right.
