Good signing for that lot.

Charles, Armstrong and Bannan is a decent midfield at this level.

I was fairly pleased with the link, Armstrong would be a decent squad addition here.
Box to box player that pops up with goals and has promotion experience.

We do have a lot of players in that area though, so not something we vitally need (provided T Davies is OK).

We looked at Armstrong in the Summer and decided he wasn’t what we needed for the cost.

To be fair to her it was a source at Vancouver Whitecaps who created the confusion by giving her false info after she intially reported it correctly.
Some posters off here on her account showing their true colours behind their pseudonyms

Time will tell. He only managed 5 starts for Vancouver and their season finished almost 2 months ago.

They've got quite a few midfielders already. It's a striker that they need.

I can see why the confusion has arisen, as there's only one Sheffield club signing anyone this transfer window, so naturally, they'll think it's us.
Only one club in Sheffield full stop!

But seriously, regarding the confusion maybe a few of the pig fans that wear their fake United username like a kids fancy dress outfit can clarify 😁

Made 10 appearances since joining them in September, started 5, came off in all 5 and 5 sub appearances. Played a total of 410 minutes in 4 months.

Not sure he's going to be up to speed but will be interesting, gives them some much needed experience in the middle.

That's a great signing for them tbh. Maybe even push them into the play-offs. Still had it for Southampton last season.

9 months is a long time for a player in their 30's

As a name he sounds ok for them.

Not sure that was really their priority, was it? It seems they are short decent centre backs, Max Lowe was still filling in at LCB.

They’re also short in strikers too with that guy Ugbo being a flop and interest around Smith.

If playing 3-5-2, I’d have thought he’d more be an alternative to Windass off a striker. Otherwise it’s Charles and a 34 year old and a 32 year old who has started 5 times in 6 months.

I don’t see him and Bannan in a two. So if they were 4-2-3-1 then he’d be after Windass’ spot, unless he’s now pushing for that South American move. It must be tempting now to want to go to Santos and tell your kids you played alongside Neymar.

It's funny how posters who can't find a single positive thing to post about sheff utd can suddenly tip the pigs for a highly unlikely play off place if they sign a player they would be fucking raging if we signed

When linked with us or people like myself suggested him in summer alot of people on here werent happy of the possibility 🤣

Probably same people unhappy with Harry Clarke would've rated him more if Pigs signed him

Yes it reminds me of being confused during the 1970s because there were Blades fans of my dad's age telling me that United are doing rubbish and Wendy doing well despite the fact we were always above them in the league from the 1970-71 season.

Who put 50p in the dickhead? I am quite literally one of the most positive blades around, I've pointed out how little football he has played, in a shit division but gives them some experience that they need.

Not once did I mention playoffs or similar you absolute cretin.

I wasn't referring to you touchy bum

They reckon they now have best midfield in league

Wouldn't have thought any blade would give 2 fcks! About them. Is this porktalk 2?

I would have been happy to sign him, but he have a better long-term bet in O'Hare. The one thing against him is his age. 32 now. 34 by the end of next season. Very cute signing for them, imo. He brings a lot of experience with him.

He’s managed 410 minutes since last August in MLS stuff, which finished a while back.

He didn’t finish a single game he started.

Going to be as creaky as an old gate!
