I saw Pigs game was cancelled due to waterlogged pitch the other night. All rail services cancelled in Wales tomorrow and 'do not travel' warnings in place for rest of UK. Travel disruption expected into the weekend. Heavy rain forecast from mid-day in Sheffield on Saturday. But the game should go ahead? I'm travelling up Saturday.

Big coat weather mate, maybe drink a bitter before match. Save hoppy IPA for summer drinks.

This isn't the pub league. Only a heavy cold can stop this league 🤣

If games goes ahead bound to be a few travel problems for fans getting to match with the number of trainlines & airlines that have reduce their services for next 24-48 hours due to storm eunice. Blown over trees blocking major road and number of accidents on major road/motorways

Is the do not travel warning in place for Wales? Swansea specifically?
Swansea is forecast to be one of the places worse hit by this storm in the whole of the UK, for sure, but that's on Friday, Saturday not nearly so bad (although still a yellow weather warning for south Wales for Saturday daytime). It seems unlikely that this will effect the game going ahead unless the Swansea team's coach can't make it through the debris?? If I was a swansea fan I wouldn't plan to go by rail that's for sure.

Trains to and from Sheffield to London expected to take double time tomorrow. That's 4 hours instead of two. Advice is don't travel. A lot of people will travel Saturday instead so I expect it will be busy. Train tickets for tomorrow valid for Saturday now. I know this will hardly affect most Blades.

i assume it will. as i remember the storm before the Bournemouth game in feb 2020 the worst rain ive ever had on match day. remember jake Humphrey talking about the river around his Van/dressing room

At least the sheep can have a goodnight sleep and feel safe on Friday

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.......

Just says drizzle on the BBC app for Saturday afternoon. F*** it, put a coat on, look at the sky and we'll see.
