If this is true then I'd be happy, Dembele is too good for League One and ready for the next step up. He's got the potential to be the kind of young, up and coming player who we can sign and sell on for significant profit.

He very clearly is. Highly rated in his current role.

In the same way I think Hecky will ultimately realise his strength is behind the scenes and not managing.

I actually think Heckingbottom is underrated as a manager.
He definitely deserves a crack in the Championship.

I think he'd be a fantastic number 2 at a PL club, seems to know how to connect with the players and is a decent coach (injury record aside). He improved a lot of our players.

Based on nothing more than a youtube video as i’d never heard if him before he looks decent. Composed, good range of passing, has technical ability as well.

Agree. Hope he gets another shot in the champ. Blades history is going to look on him much more fondly than current fans do. That champ season he took us up saved us from serious meltdown as a club.

After managing I see him more as a DoF than a number 2 though. I’d be happy to see him here in that role. Hope he has a good rest of his career whatever he chooses.
