Just posted this on the other thread, but:

On the other hand, the reason they're in this situation is they're asset rich but cash poor. They need the cold, hard money to service their debts. Can't pay off the ballifs with footballers.

They might not cash in on everyone, but they'll 100% be open to some negotiations.
Selling assets for cents on the dollar when skint is an excellent way to remain skint

Another player we need to snap up. Need to get some signings in, starting to get antsy with other teams building and we're only one player in. ( I'm not counting the Bulgarian bunch as first teamers, yet)

Without a fee though, Hull are trying to get around this by deferring payment until the embargo ends which is why I suspect there’s a delay in registration
If they allowed to do that it’ll open the floodgates and sends the wrong message. . How do the EFL know when the embargo will end? 1 week, 1 month, 1 year???? Can’t see other EFL members being happy if Hull are allowed to do that.

Seriously they have posted £66 million losses - and that is a trend amongst non parachute clubs as they scramble to try & get the Premiership golden ticket. It’s madness - even if our neighbours survive - someone in the championship will go bust very soon as a consequence of being continually spend money they do not have.
