CHL is an occasional WUM.

Would be happy to have Quinny back. Would prefer pace on the wing though.

Guy at the club , who shall remain nameless , assures me the deal is done .

Also told me we were close to a loan deal for him last season .

If you are right I will buy you 100 hard boiled eggs and no more trenches to dig.

Be a good signing , lives in Sheffield , but just cannot see it on his salary unless we offer a coaching job . Also is he out of contract and a free agent. . Travelling would be better and time / money saving for him.

Wait and see .

Quinn could well be available though. New manager (Jaap Stam) at Reading and they seem to be making a lot of changes with a fair bit of money being spent.

Agree Ricky, if we could fill the most needed holes in order it would keep the collective nerves calm, but maybe, and it's only a maybe, Wilder learns of a player's availability and finds it's too good to resist. Rather than either or, perhaps it's a case of as well as. We definitely need a proven centre half, someone to play on the left wing, and more quality in midfield.......oh, and possibly a goalkeeper.

I liked Quinn when he was here, but fkin ell, we'll have the shortest midfield in the league
Think he would be the right flanker we're after.

That side we are starting to look like Ken Dodds diddy men in places

The 'Rumour' section of this forum is becoming a bit of a farce, boring.
Ahh don't be a spoiled sport! It's a slow day so people are making things up for fun. You never know, Wilder might be looking for insperation and one of these posts might just provide it!

A player who absolutely loves the club. Would be a great signing if we could get him. Gives everything, every game.

Quinn never played for Wednesdays academy?! I thought we snapped him up early but from their ranks.
I've always thought that, Seems I've always been wrong.
Even more reason to sign him!
Personally I wasn't his biggest fan but we aren't the team we were even from when he played last so I think he'd do a job now. I like my wingers to have pace and trickery but we tried that with JCR. He's 30 the same as sharp but he's never really had any pace anyway.
I know he has family over here still so I'd say it's a possibility.

I thought the same (re where he came from) but was put right on bm I know someone with links to the family and know that he loved it here and didn't want to go originally,as for coming back he would be a great addition can't see it though

Do you follow @sufc.pictures_1889 on Instagram by chance and thought - "hey let's wind some blades up"?

A tidy left footed footballer, plenty of experience, passionate, dependable, would work hard for the team and loves the club. He couldn't sound any more like a Wilder type player.
Unfortunately it comes down to money...
So I can't see it either.

Spot on Bulmer it was a real wrench for him to leave us and I can vouch that if a genuine opportunity to rejoin us arose he would jump at it. He retained good links with MacCabe and United. It's a long shot but who knows?
