There is a limit though isn’t there.
Rob “just how long has the manager got left if we lose against Lincoln?”
Also Rob “so, Chris me old mucker, any news for the weekend? Mood in the group? Feeling positive?”
Not going to cut their own throats with the manager are they?
He probably does have opinions on whats going off on the pitchHe read out questions from fans. Did you believe he has no opinion or questions on the shitshow on the pitch as well as the boardroom?
He probably does have opinions on whats going off on the pitch
So what should he ask that a CEO not a football man can answer
Hes answered questions on recruitment having to sell players to balance the books and keep within SCR
Hes answered the question about Wilders position 'Its a results business' so Im assuming if there is no upturn in results and we are in a relegation battle Wilders position will be discussed
He cant answer questions on Wilders tactics / team selection, hes said that Wilder has the choice of players to sign within budget and no players will be forced on Wilder. I suppose if we had a DOF they would be able to answer such questions
He was asked about possibly planning for the future and said things would be done differently if searching for a new manager etc and that Bords influence was a major problem. This is something we should be looking at already. If we are Bettis isnt going to come out and say so
Hasn’t got them many interviews though, not with said owner anyway. I wonder why? Ditto the Star.Didn’t stop them with successive owners.
It is a clear as day sign that the current regime cannot, or will not, put in the money required to make the club function properly. So the BL Stand is closed because we're not filling the ground? How much money do we save from that? How much does it cost to employ security and 4-5 bar staff for 3 hours on near-minimum wage?
Is it worth it to kick all the regulars out of their regular seats in what is, in the opinion of many the best view in the ground? And having an empty stand in full view on TV?
We're pulling in over 25k, why is the stand closed now? It has never been closed because we 'aren't filling the stadium' before. Not even in League One when we were getting 17k.
Do the club realise some fans won't bother going if they can't sit in their regular seats?
A pertinent question floating around was “Why were we so keen to immediately comply with SCR?”It is a clear as day sign that the current regime cannot, or will not, put in the money required to make the club function properly.
that's all there is to it.
This regime are certain to leave this club in a worse place than they found it.
Yep, cost cutting whilst hiding behind SCR skirts.A pertinent question floating around was “Why were we so keen to immediately comply with SCR?”
Most other teams, around 20, are taking their time and as has been pointed out, the league is unlikely to sanction the majority of clubs.
Seems a happy coincidence that prevents the owners putting money in to support the playing side.
If that isn’t happening then what stops them from investing in the roof fix or Dore?
reckon Cleveland might be the area we go toSummary,
Best moment when SB said Tortosa Ex Pats (aka El Accounto)s question about charges being levied against the Club by PA was a load of bollocks.
Legal/ EFL/IFR issues
IFR stated they did not feel it necessary to be informed of change to structure i.e 1919 share transfer provided owners remained in situ at top of family tree.
EFL were told 24 hours after 1919 share transfer occurred. They take the opposite view to IFR feel they should have been allowed to sign it off. They have stopped asking questions. They have known about this for 4 months. SB view if regulations have been breached charges would have been made by now. Legal advice remains confident no case to answer but still a risk of sanctions until EFL finally respond.
SB rightly dismissed the Southampton scenario where 10 points were deducted. COH was not insolvent whilst part of SUFC group. Saints holding company was hence the sanction. Owners will fight hard any sanction imposed.
Tim Ryan passed the EFL O and D Test again refuting media misinformation. Another fact the media got wrong is that the EFL are not concerned about Rosen and his previous company being liquidated.
The contractual dispute between United World and Rosen and co is a contractual dispute. Monies are owed. Owners feel it should be a lesser sum than the £35m quoted as outstanding. Parties continue to talk. SB has met with PA in the last 10 days.
Unfortunately no questions were raised about Tom Page action.
Club revenue/ recruitment
Club aim was to bring in £20m from player sales to meet SCR and bring down wage bill by £7m. That has been achieved. No need for player sales in JTW unless silly offers come in.
Talks with players/agents ongoing about contract extensions.
1 Loan available if team doing well owners would consider providing funds for new players otherwise its frees and loans.
Owners are discussing with 2 parties potential for new investment.
Dore
£1 million spent last 12 months. High level costings for planning application and public consultations ongoing. Land secured its now the cost of buildings. Designs completed.
Academy has been staffed up to CAT 1 standard.
BL Stand
Structural issues. Spent £500k so far to make it structurally safe. Will require extensive alterations next Summer.
Decision not to reopen for the moment in view of current attendances.
Alan Knill
It was a collective decision. SB and CW discussed it. Desire to provide a pathway for younger new coaches hence Mcsheffery and Collins being promoted.
Overseas in pre season
Bochum was a success. Looking to do similar trip next season but probably not in Europe.
Owners not looking to sell
No plans for this. Talking to potential investors. Value of club will have diminshed no reason to want to sell at moment.
You think this regime will "go for it"? Using whose money?I think our fans need to come back to earth. This season is just a reset like we all knew it would be may as well save the money and go for it again next season.

We’ll be expected to use the money from transfers of assets. You think this regime will "go for it"? Using whose money?
In league one we gave it to away fans!So the BL Stand is closed because we're not filling the ground? How much money do we save from that? How much does it cost to employ security and 4-5 bar staff for 3 hours on near-minimum wage?
Is it worth it to kick all the regulars out of their regular seats in what is, in the opinion of many the best view in the ground? And having an empty stand in full view on TV?

What progress was there last season?of course the less spent this season the more we can regroup and go again next season. were in a transitional period let see where we are in 5 years time i remember prince Abdullah saying we would be in the premier league in 5 years time when he took over and it took 6.
you've got to take the sweets with the sour's and enjoy the ride or get off, we are seeing progress every year for last 10 years sometimes slower but progress is progress.
If the club gambled like some of our supporters would like to see we wouldn't have a club.
Bang on,it will look a lot worse next season when more empty seats appear. People are getting fed up week by week,3k down on our own support, good job the away following has been sold out more or less. I’m astonished by the shocking decisions made over the last 2 seasons and the old boys club running the show is still intact. So the BL Stand is closed because we're not filling the ground? How much money do we save from that? How much does it cost to employ security and 4-5 bar staff for 3 hours on near-minimum wage?

Ramsdale is the only player I can think of, and Wilder wasn't here when he was sold. We’ll be expected to use the money from transfers of assets.
Judging by recent recruitment I’m not convinced we’re of a mindset to sell assets and replace them with other assets with a high potential for growth.
Apart from the academy I can’t think of many instances where Wilder bought a player and sold him on for more, can you?
So? Figures like Daniel Levy were running a football club. Obviously not a football man. Bettis has very little to do with the actual football side of it all.Can we stop saying he’s ’not a football man’. He’s been running a football club for ten fucking years.
Did this question get asked? He throws out this line in each interview and if he’s not the football man on the board, who is?Can we stop saying he’s ’not a football man’. He’s been running a football club for ten fucking years.
Callum O'Hare, sadly. We’ll be expected to use the money from transfers of assets.

You are living in cloud cuckoo land, with these owners we will carry on deteriorating.I think our fans need to come back to earth. This season is just a reset like we all knew it would be may as well save the money and go for it again next season. If we can nick a playoff spot with this amount of creativity i will be flabbergasted. we are seeing the academy improved which last time that happened when we went to Shirecliffe only good things can come from it. UTB
They rely on Wilder.....God help usDid this question get asked? He throws out this line in each interview and if he’s not the football man on the board, who is?
If we don’t have one (which we know we don’t), why not?
That was a blatantly obvious question to ask so really not sure why it wasn’t.So the BL Stand is closed because we're not filling the ground? How much money do we save from that? How much does it cost to employ security and 4-5 bar staff for 3 hours on near-minimum wage?
