Let's hope they go full pelt at him as if it's our owners sat there. PA money, training ground, how interested owners are in still having us, crap signings if over the hill injured players, taking football decisions off CW and cronies to someone else, Alan Knill ...... unfortunately will get same shit answers about he's just an accountant .

All these questions were asked.

He may 'only' be an accountant, but he is our accountant.
He deals with the numbers, not where the numbers are directed towards.

He didn’t have to read them out though did he.

The point being l don’t recall him bringing the subject up himself. Odd seeing as it’s the biggest subject on here. Far bigger than the answer to is the new guy approved by the EFL answer he went searching for and quickly left when he got the answer.

Sadly doesnt seem to know that we needed to tell the EFL and get agreement, that we were transferring the shares of the company that owned the club. Or rather we told them the day after we did it!

I wonder whether Bettis even knew about it? Surely would be high up on any board meeting agenda?

If he knew, and surely knows the rules with regards to EFL and such a change, then as the CEO, he has to take responsibility.

The owners clearly have no idea on many things related to rules etc as Rosen admitted in his interview recently, so others at the club should be advising them over what they can/cant do?

I thought it was no questions about Wilder. Now it's no question to Wilder?

Haha

The questions were from fans. They were not ready to go questions that Rob wanted to ask of Bettis.

Is that BBC interviewer giving Bettis some pushback on Chris? or is that random Blades fan giving pushback to Bettis on Chris?

Go and have a lay down and think about it if you need to.

Ah so because Rob decided to frame it as from the fans it was against his will.

Bizarre bizarre posts. Get a cold compress on. Thank you for the laughs tonight

Not one question on Wilder, don't be fooled by Rob's pressing. You can see Radio Sheffield agenda from the outset.

This is why I don't rate the local press, not that we didn't get some answers from Bettis but they are all most likely similar ones he had just given Danny Hall.

No questions about Wilder.
But there was and now you change it not from from a radio presenter when the whole aim was for questions from fans. Oh well. Maybe you just didn't explain your point well enough I guess 🤭

The companies he’s the CEO of aren’t responsible for reporting the transfers.

Bettis was asked questions with regard to Wilder
Does it matter if they were from fans
They were asked
Staton could have decided not to ask those questions

Yeah the questions were not from Rob were they?

Which has been my point all along with The Star and Radio Sheffield they won't question Wilder directly themselves. They want to keep that relationship sweet.

The owners have questions to answer obviously but so does Wilder as well.

They asked fans to send in their questions.

Fans sent in their questions.

Staton chose which ones to read out including at least 2 about Wilder.

Whether they were his questions or not is irrelevant, he chose to give the topic airtime and chose to put those questions to Bettis.

Would you have felt better about it if he’d said they were his questions rather than the fans.

Why would he decide that? One of the most current issues at the moment. Could that be part of any malaise affecting the club?

Summary,

Best moment when SB said Tortosa Ex Pats (aka El Accounto)s question about charges being levied against the Club by PA was a load of bollocks.

Legal/ EFL/IFR issues

IFR stated they did not feel it necessary to be informed of change to structure i.e 1919 share transfer provided owners remained in situ at top of family tree.

EFL were told 24 hours after 1919 share transfer occurred. They take the opposite view to IFR feel they should have been allowed to sign it off. They have stopped asking questions. They have known about this for 4 months. SB view if regulations have been breached charges would have been made by now. Legal advice remains confident no case to answer but still a risk of sanctions until EFL finally respond.

SB rightly dismissed the Southampton scenario where 10 points were deducted. COH was not insolvent whilst part of SUFC group. Saints holding company was hence the sanction. Owners will fight hard any sanction imposed.

Tim Ryan passed the EFL O and D Test again refuting media misinformation. Another fact the media got wrong is that the EFL are not concerned about Rosen and his previous company being liquidated.

The contractual dispute between United World and Rosen and co is a contractual dispute. Monies are owed. Owners feel it should be a lesser sum than the £35m quoted as outstanding. Parties continue to talk. SB has met with PA in the last 10 days.

Unfortunately no questions were raised about Tom Page action.

Club revenue/ recruitment

Club aim was to bring in £20m from player sales to meet SCR and bring down wage bill by £7m. That has been achieved. No need for player sales in JTW unless silly offers come in.

Talks with players/agents ongoing about contract extensions.

1 Loan available if team doing well owners would consider providing funds for new players otherwise its frees and loans.

Owners are discussing with 2 parties potential for new investment.

Dore

£1 million spent last 12 months. High level costings for planning application and public consultations ongoing. Land secured its now the cost of buildings. Designs completed.

Academy has been staffed up to CAT 1 standard.

BL Stand

Structural issues. Spent £500k so far to make it structurally safe. Will require extensive alterations next Summer.

Decision not to reopen for the moment in view of current attendances.

Alan Knill

It was a collective decision. SB and CW discussed it. Desire to provide a pathway for younger new coaches hence Mcsheffery and Collins being promoted.

Overseas in pre season

Bochum was a success. Looking to do similar trip next season but probably not in Europe.

Owners not looking to sell

No plans for this. Talking to potential investors. Value of club will have diminshed no reason to want to sell at moment.
Many thanks for the Summary as I am unable to use FH's link. Much appreciated!

The companies he’s the CEO of aren’t responsible for reporting the transfers.
SUFC are a member of the EFL.

If the company/owners who own SUFC, change or transfer the shares to another company that is essentially owning SUFC, then the EFL has to be notified and agree to it.

He is the CEO of SUFC.

I would assume he would have advised the owners they needed to get such a change agreed?

He could have asked his own questions. He chose not to. Some wonder why?

Do you think he could have had a more relevant question than does Chris Wilder have a job for life?

And do all transfers need to be from Wilder's little black book.

Great questions indeed.

He effectively asked if Wilder had a job no matter what and if he had too much influence on recruitment.

I can think of a lot of questions that could have been asked tonight but didn’t get asked, some about Wilder and some not but I think those 2 are key.

Whether or not they were questions sent in by fans and chosen by Staton to ask or whether they were Statons own questions is neither here nor there.

Exactly, the same as the questions he was asking to Wilder in a presser a few weeks ago and got praised by some on here for asking such questions. He actually said on FH that he was collecting all the questions coming into the programme from Blades and put them to Wilder.

Again, SUFC Limited aren’t transferring any shares. (In fact the shares being transferred were those of Blades Leisure Limited)

As he wasn’t a board member of COH maybe they relied on other advice? I don’t know. If Staton hadn’t been trying to confirm - incorrectly - that the authorities were NOT informed, he should maybe have had a follow up on why the day late issue and how did that happen, but he quickly left that issue because his question and oft repeated claim was wrong.

Maybe he’ll use the FH Team account to clarify.

Why would he decide that? One of the most current issues at the moment. Could that be part of any malaise affecting the club?

I agree with you.
Staton is getting a slagging off for not asking questions about Wilder when he did ask questions.
It comes across from some posters as if Staton was trying to avoid asking stuff about Wilder. If that is the case he could have chosen not to ask those questions

The job for life question was pretty naff to be honest.

He was only critical of the owners. There’s more to the current problems than them. He could have put his neck on the line (when he did he pretty much got slapped down) but chose not to.
