Steel city derby… the under 21’s version.

I’ve got Monday the 2nd of march off work and I’ve got no idea why I booked it off, anyway I’ve got naff all to do and I’ve just stumbled across the fixtures for the under 21’s, the blades play the bar stewards from s6 at 2:30pm at the training ground, I know some fixtures are played behind closed doors and for a bigger fixture they’re usually played at the lane. Where do you find out if it’s behind closed doors or not?

The official SUFC Development account will make an announcement on Social Media (I use X and Instagram). That may come as late as Monday morning.

At the moment, it is usual for fans to be admitted to Shirecliffe for these games. The routine has been 15 minutes before kick off, with no onsite parking.

Anyway. For confirmation, it's the SUFC Development Social Media.

As is often the case towards the end of a U21 season, United continue to lose experienced at this level players. Zain Tahir gone at the weekend as well.

Not to add to Roygbiv schedule …. Sorry for bringing this up ! BUT, I do enjoy his loan updates. We’re all too used to Roy doing our leg work though, we’re all capable these days of finding out for ourselves… hint hint nudge nudge Roy !

I did a bit of searching on twitter earlier and by all accounts they rated him, since January he’s been the 6th loanee and as such has not been included, to the annoyance of some fans

They've got a 32 year old and a 27 year old starting for the U21s today

We playing Faxon so he can pick up 'a knock' and we can bring in an emergency loan to play instead of Davies.

We know Oné is on loan and ditto Marsh but no Beattie or Francis either.

It seems we’re giving that Eadie a run and 3 other youngsters in the forward line.

Apart from Faxon, looks like largely u18 eligible lads.

Both of Faxon’s arms could fall off mid-game and we still wouldn’t be allowed to bring in an emergency loan keeper to start instead of Davies.
